Living room with 62”inch Roku TV, WiFi, heat/AC unit operated by remote control, fireplace operated by remote control, ceiling fan, leather sofa and recliner.

Weekend in Eastland

I rented the house to spend a weekend close to family. The property managers live onsite which proved to be very helpful. There was some confusion, on my part, opening the unit. I texted them and they quickly came over and solved the problem. The unit was clean, comfortable and meet all my expectation. The bed has a memory foam type mattress which was no problem for me but would have been for my wife. The only thing missing is an outdoors chair to drink morning coffee and admire the view.

I have lived in Texas all but one year of my life. I was raised, went to school, worked and retired, in the DFW area. My husband and I moved to Eastland a few years ago because we wanted to get out of the big city and traffic. Although, it was quite a culture shock for me to move to a town with only 3,900 people, and a very slow pace of life compared to what I came from. I am getting used to it, and I love the fact that I can get across town in about 5 minutes with no traffic. I guess you could say that I am becoming a "City Cowgirl."

My husband and I love to travel and are always looking for a new adventure. We have stayed in many VRBO's in our travels, and decided to host one of our own since we have the space in our newly remodeled home.

We look forward to hosting you at Cindy/s Place.

Why they chose this property

I love the neighborhood and the view we have from our house, along with the deer roaming in our yard. It is a very quiet and safe neighborhood.
