Impressive updated Craftsman home. A lot of little extras with plenty of towels, large tvs in every bedroom, nice coffee selection and a great hot tub!
House was very clean and cozy. Loved the bathrooms. Water stayed nice and hot through multiple showers. Plenty of room. The kids loved the game room. Back entrance could be a bit more secure.
Home was clean, organized and very comfortable! It was exactly as pictured and our kids had a lot of fun in the arcade room and hot tub! Bathrooms were large and tubs great for soaking! Kitchen was stocked and beds comfortable! The surrounding homes were a bit underdeveloped, but the rental itself was amazing and we had a beautiful time!
Great place and location, close to everything. 8 adults stayed for a weekend of golf and brewery hopping. Plenty of space for all of us. It was stocked full woth coffee, pors, pans and plenty of board and outdoor games. Would stay again!
It was our last weekend of hockey for the season, we had an Irish tourney in Kzoo for our son's team and it was a weekend well spent! Would definitely stay again!
Great host and beautiful, very clean house. Even a lot of extras! Host thought of everything! Check in and check out was flawless! Would recommend 100%. There were six of us and the house was perfect! Will definitely be back!
House was amazing, clean and they had all essentials needed for a great stay. Had a tree fall right before our stay but they cleared it and fixed the problem right away. One of my better stays ever. Thank you Austin for providing me and my family with a great home to stay for our vacation.
Our family, six adults and a very active 8 year old, just stayed in this home. The game room and hot tub were a hit. The beds were comfy. There was plenty of space for everyone. Communication with Austin was easy. We have family in Kalamazoo and love visiting so we plan on staying here again.
The house was very clean and welcoming, had many thoughtful touches (sound machines in the rooms, bibs and a high chair available, etc.) We are sensitive to fragrances and were very happy that the house was “fragrance free.”
Our family had such a fun time. There were a lot of arcade games, Foosball, and shuffleboard bowling. Best of all a hot tub! The area is close to grocery stores and local attractions. We will have to keep this house in mind when we are in the kalalamazoo area again.
Rented Austin’s place for myself and four friends for our 20th Kalamazoo College reunion. The home is beautiful! The front reading room gets beautiful sunlight, and the house is warm and cozy throughout, even though it’s so spacious. We especially loved winding down on the back porch, and using the hot tub. We’ll look forward to renting Austin’s place again for our 25th!
We had an AMAZING stay for our soccer tournament. We had 3 adults and 5 kids. The pictures were true to image. The house was clean and spacious. The game room kept everyone entertained. The host was very accommodating for our schedule. If we come back, we will stay here again!
We had THE BEST stay at the Historic Craftsman House. Family flew in and drove in from PA, Ohio and FL to attend a musical at WMU. Very quick drive to the Gilmore Theater Complex on campus and close to a lot of restaurants etc. Everything was very clean, all the amenities were thought of, the kitchen was perfect and included coffee!! The game room and hot tub made it really fun for our college age daughter and 18 year old son. We loved it and will be back!
This was an amazing house! The kitchen was very well equipped with quality dishes and cookware. The common areas were spacious with multiple areas to congregate. Bedrooms were comfortable. Modern amenities werre throughout and it was beautifully decorated. Austin was quick to communicate. I will definitely return.
We came to Kalamazoo for a family gathering and were so pleased with the convenience and spaciousness of this home. Everything was clean and neat and just what we needed. We loved the game room, the large TVs in every room, super comfy large beds, cozy front den area, and the two full bathrooms upstairs. It was perfect for our family and even our local relatives commented on how nice the house was. Austin was very responsive in booking the stay and also made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. He even came right over when we decided to grill and ensured that the propane tank was full and ready to go. Our only regret is that we ran out of time to try out the hot tub. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We highly recommended this property for families!
This VRBO is top notch!! The house was a perfect spot for our family to enjoy time together after summer graduation. Commencements were early so we had an entire day to BBQ and hang out with our family afterward. The deck fit us and a few friends nicely. Inside was perfectly cool, comfortable and plenty of seating if we needed to be inside. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels, and all the essentials we needed. Awesome lighting throughout the entire house. The beds, bedding, and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Everyone loved the game room, even the grandparents! I was impressed with how clean it was when we arrived! The kitchen had plenty of everything needed, from coffee pot selections to condiments! Well thought out place! Thanks so much!
