Cozy home away from home
Our family of 3 adults were quite comfortable during our stay in this cozy home in Belfast. Everything that we needed was there with shopping close by. There was parking right in front and a short taxi ride to downtown when needed.
We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Very nice place 3 people used to R&R on a short trip to Belfast. Dorothy was very helpful and accommodating to us. As advertised. Would surely stay here again. Great house. Nice back yard. We visited Titanic museum and the Murals while there. And nice pub close by. Thanks again Dorothy.
My husband and i stayed for 10 days at Dorothy’s house on the north side of Belfast. The house is well located for touring Belfast by convenient transit or by foot. We took lovely walks in the nearby parks and hiked to ‘Napoleon’s Nose’ and Belfast Castle from the house. The house is cozy and the kitchen is modern and well appointed for making meals at home. Recommend for couples or families.

A great house in a good location. Very impressed!
This property is perfect for a stay in Belfast. Just outside the city centre it is a quick 5min (if that) drive into town. The house itself is very comfortable, great amenities (washer/dryer/WIFI/ comfy bed, towels etc-) and very comfortable. Overall the house is a bit on the luxurious side and better than the 4 star hotel I stayed at! The host and her sister are lovely and very helpful. The house is so nice, I wish I'd stayed longer as it was the highlight of accommodation my trip.
What a lovely place to stay! Having a lock box with our door key in it made everything so easy. Everything was clean and we had more than enough dishes and towels to use. There were piles of outlet adapters to use which was a nice extra touch. I was a little worried about having enough room to park on the street but there were plenty of spaces every night. Overall, I would recommend this cute place to anyone spending a few days in Belfast. It was perfect for doing day trips around the area. I felt like we were close to everything.

Wonderful
We arrived to find our accommodations very cozy, and yet spacious. Very tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, and the curtains were perfect for blocking out the early morning sun. We really enjoyed lounging in the evening on the comfortable couch. We arrived on a Culteral weekend, it was fun to go to the Cathedral Center for a nice, but chilly, evening out. We wanted to hire a Black Cab tour of the north, but found out you have to do so weeks before you arrive. So we opted for a Hop On Hop Off tour of the city. Very informative. Our stay in Belfast was brief, but we had a nice time.

"At Home" in Belfast
We spent 4 days in Belfast this lovely 2 bedroom/1 bath house. The house was fully equipped with everything a traveling family needs. Warm and friendly decor and very well kept beds were comfortable and the house was impeccably clean! The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils anyone needs for a quick or more elaborate meals. A short taxi ride from the City Center and a short walk to two grocery stores and a mile car ride to a large Tesco. Very quiet neighborhood and perfectly safe to walk to the Spar and shops/restaurants later in the evening. Bus stops are located just down the road from the house that will take you into the City Center area. A lovely place to 'come home to' after a busy day sightseeing and visiting Belfast!

Perfect place to stay in Belfast
This is a very clean and cozy 2 BR 2 BA unit, in a location convenient to Belfast and the surrounding area. It is a 2-story unit with beds and baths upstairs, and kitchen and living areas downstairs. The washer and dryer were well appreciated! We were 4 adults on an a trip to different areas in the U.K., and this was our favorite residence of all. There is even a patio to enjoy. If you rent a car, there is parking right out front. If you need a taxi, one will appear quickly. Walking is good, and he people around were friendly. There is a grocery nearby within easy walking distance, and it had everything we needed. Mostly we ate breakfast at home and dinner in nearby pubs, very good food! The owner, Dorothy, provided complete information, and her sister who lives nearby stopped in to answer any questions we had. The internet worked great, and there were brochures in the unit describing many of the sights to see. Checking in and out is seamless. It definitely contributed to the great vacation we enjoyed!
The only problem was with the heat staying on. It went off on the middle of the night and we were freezing. Other than that everything was very nice and confortable.
Every was perfect until I am ready to go, I received a different address from the one I saw on line, wasn't happy about the change. Overall the stay was excellent, the house was very inviting and cozy..
The property was awesome and the area was very nice...was super easy to get downtown by bus and go and check out Belfast without having to drive...I would highly recommend staying at this property...met the owners niece and father when we arrived...made us feel so welcome...there everything you could possibly need for your home away from home...
Excellent communication, all questions answered, and prompt responses. Dorothy went above and beyond for my sister and I. I highly recommend this property!
The location was a great place to spend our anniversary. Everything was as described and great directions and information was provided for local shops and markets. We really enjoyed staying here and even walked into the city for the day
It’s really small but worked fine for four adults. Absolutely as promised. Good WiFi, good tv (not that we used it much), well equipped kitchen. Only problem is that the only bathroom is on upper floor.. But that is how these row houses are designed.

About the host
Hosted by Dorothy Alhadad
My name is Dorothy Alhadad, I grew up in Belfast Northern Ireland, and although i moved away over 30 years ago I still consider Belfast home, the people are among the nicest friendliest people you could ever meet, very warm and welcoming. I go back at least twice a year to spend time with my family, and that is the reason I purchased this property.
Why they chose this property
I fell in love with this house as soon as i walked through the door, even before the renovations i knew I had to have it, I'm sure you will love it as much as I do, and I hope if you decide to book it you will recommend it to your friends. It has been very tastefully decorated with everything new. Come and see for yourself, I'm sure you'll be very happy you did.
