Day at Oaklawn
The location to Oaklawn was ideal and easily walkable after a long day and exactly what we were looking for.
However, if you are looking for anything other than a place to sleep, get up and leave, I would look elsewhere. I will say the place was clean, but that was about it. The one bed we slept was very uncomfortable and could feel the springs. All of the towels we unfolded had stains on them and definitely need to be replaced. The only soap in the entire place was Dawn dishwashing soap in the kitchen; comical because we were so tired. There were no drinking cups besides the four coffee cups on the table.
For the money we spent, much better off getting an Uber or shuttle to a hotel.
The place has so much potential because of the location, just needs some TLC!
