This beautiful three story beach house is just a few steps from the beach! Perhaps you would prefer to lounge around a private pool, instead. Heat the pool for just a little extra fee. The house is located in a lazy laid back neighborhood of private homes on the beach. At the same time, you are 5-10 minutes away from all the best restaurants and shopping.
Friends of mine once said that when they go on vacation, they want to stay somewhere that is nicer than their own home. That is exactly what we have tried to accomplish with this totally elegant Beach House. This place has all the bells and whistles. Every bedroom has a King size bedroom suite. One set of built in bunks with deluxe pillow top mattresses. There is a queen sleeper sofa on the second floor. This is a perfect set up for two or more families.

Be prepared for luxury from the formal dining room as you enter, to the 12 foot ceilings and magnificent crown moulding throughout. Granite counters grace the well equipped kitchen as do the stainless appliances. Watch your favorite TV shows on large screen TVs in the living room or family room or enjoy your show from the comfort of your bedroom.

On the second level you will find what we like to call the family suite. There you will find a large family room, including a wet bar and half bath. The built in bunks make this like a fourth bedroom. There is a large balcony overlooking the private HEATED POOL. The second floor bedroom has a king bed suite with bath, balcony and HD LED TV.

The third level has two king bedrooms with private baths. The Master Suite is adorned with a fireplace, double vanity, a jetted tub and a spacious shower. A private balcony off the Master is a great place to enjoy warm moonlit Florida nights. The second bedroom has a beautiful Tropical King Bedroom suite for your comfort. Both bedrooms are equipped with a TV.

Prime Location: On the quieter end of PCB on the much desired beach side of Thomas Drive. A hundred steps down Albacore Street and you are on the beach... no crossing busy streets to get to the beach. Only 3 miles from St. Andrews State Park and walking distance from several restaurants and amusement parks.

Sorry, NO pets allowed. Must have someone over age 25 to stay in the house. We do not rent to student groups or wedding parties.

Everything we needed! Great location. Privacy. Loved the quietness of the area. There is a lot of stairs but expected that with it being 3 stories. We had more than enough room. Our grandchildren loved the pool. Conveniently located near everything .Walmart and DG really close. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths. We like getting a unit with washer and dryer because it’s convenient especially when you have a 5 & 6 year old. Bill was very quick to answer any questions we had. This is a great place to stay and you won’t be disappointed.

wonderful multi family home

The perfect house for multi families and families With kids. With all the bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor, adults could stay up while the kids went to bed. And it was very quiet upstairs for an afternoon nap. The little pool was perfect for little kids. Close to restaurants rerestaurants

Love this house!

Our family stayed August 3-11, 2024. We enjoyed staying at this house so very much. The property was very clean and very convenient. The pictures are online for the property need to be updated as the aerial picture shows no houses on the beach and there is a lot of property development there now. However The house was absolutely perfect for our family and the size was great. I will say there is quite a bit of road noise as this house is adjacent to Thomas Drive but we were able to adapt to that. This is definitely a house that my family would book again. The location is very convenient to all restaurants and activities.

Excellent is all I can say! The decor is beautiful just as the listing showed. Beds were comfy. Pool was clean. Great location. Even had beach stuff for the kids. But most of all Bill, the owner was the best. He was very responsive to all pre-trip questions. Thanks for allowing my family to stay in your home.

Spring Breakers 2014!!

The Albacore was absolutely beautiful! We had such a wonderful time!! This home accommodated 2 families with four adults and six pre/teenagers with plenty of space for all of us. The Albacore was furnished with all of our needs and then some. The photo's are exactly what the property looks like, very clean, well maintained and decorated beautifully. The area had many options for dining, shopping, entertainment, night life, and most importantly 100 steps to the beach! Started our day with a run along the ocean and ended them with the beautiful sunset on the beach! Bill was a pleasure to work with, he answered all of my quetions and was very helpful, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or person to deal with. Thank you Bill! We can’t wait to come back!

Not a good place. As arrived found several things wrong! Condom on the floor of one of bedrooms . Plugs will not work in bathrooms. Dirty plates under the bed. We done everything that was asked of as far as check out! Notifed owner of all issues. Did leave luggage cleaning lady did come back and give out luggage and didn’t not have to that! (Appreciate that very much) she was rude! We did use wash cloths to remove make up as some woman do. Owner state we could be charge for wash cloths because they would not come clean? Also stated we had spilled something in floor. One of rails on staircase was broke when arrived! Dishwasher when open to load literally would fall completely out of its place into floor. Also they stated pool was cleaned on fridays. Pool has not been cleaned in a while. We also paid when booked a cleaning fee. I notified owner to them know if things that was wrong upon arrival. With pictures just as I thought he like to be aware of issues. I was told he had best cleaning crew there. While that might be case I’m not sure how condom in the bedroom floor dirty dishes under a bed is clean!

Great Location

The host was fantastic throughout our booking and stay. Extremely responsive to messages and request. We would definitely stay here and are looking at dates to return. Beach lovers

We had a great week. Communication with Bill was easy and you can’t beat the proximity to the beach. Check in/out was easy and everyone we met along the way was very friendly. The kids spent the majority of their days either at the beach or in the pool. Swimming is their favorite so this was a great spot for them. Only reason for the reduced star is personal preference. We are all pretty light sleepers so some nights were restless from the road noise on Thomas Ave. It also was Spring Break. Overall the house was probably the best stocked house we’ve stayed in. Plenty of dishes, silverware, etc in the kitchen and very generous “starter” items such as toilet paper, soap, etc. so you’re not rushing on your first day in to do all the shopping. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

Perfect!

From pre check in communication to our leaving, this was a perfect vacation! Bill communicated check in instructions in great detail so we knew exactly what we needed to know. The house was perfect! Plenty of room for my group. Our group consisted of me, my husband, our two daughters, my son and his wife and their kids(9,7, 6 months). We all had plenty of room, the kids had bunk beds which they loved. You will walk up stairs as all bedrooms are on 2nd and 3rd floors which we knew based on description. The pool is nice but is small. Plenty big for the kids! Getting in through the gate to keep sand out of the house was difficult as the pool pump is at the door but still doable. There were water hoses to hose things off also. The walk to the beach is not far, but I would suggest having a wagon if you are taking many items to the beach. Overall, I would recommend this place and would stay again!

Why they chose this property

We know you will love the house location. We have been visiting PCB for 25 years and have always wanted a place on or near Surf Drive. We love the little sixties style motels and beach homes in this peaceful little neighborhood. It is like walking back in time to a more innocent era. Hopefully, you will have an opportunity to meet some of our great neighbors. Feel free to speak when you see them... they like that.

What makes this property unique

There is more to do than sunbath or walk on the most beautiful beaches in America. We enjoy riding our bikes around the neighborhood. There are lots of practically deserted streets to ride on and bike lanes all over the county. We also bring our jet skis and go out on the gulf to watch the dolphins. Don't forget to keep your eye out for a manatee while you are on the beach. They are quite friendly creatures. Susan loves the great shopping at Pier Park and Panama City. There are several dive shops on Thomas drive if you like scuba diving. I have snorkeled on the jetties at St. Andrews Park. There is some good bike riding in the park as well. PCB is becoming more and more popular for motorcycle riding. I like riding down through Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe to Appalachicola. The oysters come in on the boats right there and most of the restaurants serve them up fresh.

There is plenty of entertainment for everyone. Shipwreck Island Water Park, miniature golf, a half dozen golf courses, charter fishing, para sailing, boat and jet ski rentals, and more.
