Oceanfront Condo: Four Steps to Beautiful Sugar Beach

Kick off your shoes, open the door, and four steps later, you're on the beautiful white sands of Sugar Beach. Warm, gentle breezes caress your face, and the temperature feels wonderful, even in the summer months of June, July, and August. Walk a bit farther, and you're in the tranquil, blue Caribbean water.

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh. Your relaxing vacation has begun at 115 Sugar Beach.

Located in the Sugar Beach Resort, Unit 115, a 3 bedroom beachfront condo has all the amenities of home as well as being only a 5 minute drive from the shops and restaurants of downtown Christiansted.

In addition to the oversized master bedroom with a king-sized bed, and the guest bedroom with a queen-sized bed, there's an third bedroom with 2 twin beds. All bedrooms have new Caribbean-themed bedding and plenty of pillows so you can get a good night's sleep after a hard day of playing on the beach.

New appliances and a granite counter top greet you in the fully-equipped kitchen with gourmet utensils and a blender to make any mixed drink you can imagine. (The island is known for its Cruzan rum.) Serve everything in Caribbean-themed dishware and glassware found in the cupboards.

Other creature comforts include plenty of beach towels in the closets, a wide screen HDTV with surround sound home theater, free WIFI and broadband internet connection. A large parking lot has plenty of parking near the condo, so you'll never have to look for a parking space.

The crystal-clear waters on Sugar Beach are wonderful for snorkeling and swimming due to the gently sloping coast breaking the waves and making the water calm. You'll find beach toys located in the beach box on the porch and plenty of beach towels in the closets. If swimming is too taxing, pull your beach chair to the water's edge and enjoy the sound of the waves gently caressing the shore underneath you.

If you're more of a swimming pool type, you can swim in the large, fresh-water pool next to the ruins of a 300-year old sugar mill. Grills next to the pool allow you to make it a pool party!

Laid-back and uncrowded, but with a plethora of activities, St. Croix is the best kept secret of the Caribbean. From world-class shopping and restaurants to eco-tours, horseback riding, and some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world, there is something fun for everyone.

Awesome location on a beautiful beach, a short 3-5 minute drive from grocery stores and delicious restaurants. Full kitchen was great for relaxing days. Waterfront porch is ideal for quiet ocean contemplation and morning coffee. Owners and on-site manager were highly responsive and generous. The hosts were great with communication, condo was clean, beds were comfortable, & kitchen had everything you need. The beach is cleaned daily & the grounds are well kept. Don't be surprised if you get a visit from a gecko on the enclosed patio. Would stay here again! Cell service on the island as a whole is spotty. Condo wi-fi is great.

Our stay was great. You can’t beat the location walking off the patio straight to the beach. My kids loved going out snorkeling right outside the condo. There is one restaurant we were able to walk to as well. Great location in relation to spots to hit on the island as well! If we find ourselves in St. Croix again - I’d definitely stay again!

This property was EXACTLY as advertised! Literally 4-5 steps down from the rear patio and your feet were in the sand for Sugar Beach. Water was another 15 yards away from the porch. What a wonderful ocean view with a good breeze every day that we didn't have to use the A/C. Just opened the screens and had wonderful flow-through air, even at night! Comfortably slept 6 adults and the unit was stocked with everything needed to make meals, although we ate out most of the time. Gated villa with plenty of parking. Pool and surrounding area was also great and very well kept. We will DEFINITELY book this place again for another mid-winter getaway.

We wanted to spend a relaxing week by the beach and enjoying the local food. This condo was perfect! Everything you could need for a family of four to make your own meals and enjoy the beach without schlepping everything over the sand. Perfect stay and we greatly appreciate it!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach condo. The access to the private beach was amazing with a fun little snorkeling area right there! The condo was nice, kitchen well stocked and pool access great as well. We had some trouble getting the TV to work and it’s in need of a few more beach chairs. Great place would return!

This was our second stay in this condo, and we loved it again! The location is amazing, and the back door opens directly onto the beach. The beach is very quiet and private - we were there 10 days and saw fewer than 10 people total. Our friends came with us and got married right outside the condo on the beach.You can snorkel and see awesome fish, coral, etc. right from the beach. Chris (on-site manager) was once again helpful and polite. The owner is great and responds quickly to any message.We love St. Croix and will be back.

We loved our stay. The condo was well appointed with everything we needed. Lots of room for our group of five. The view is gorgeous! Great location near Christiansted. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Condo is nice, comfortable and clean. Conveniently located near C'sted and easy to get to F'sted. The grocery store is near by, and the view from the porch can't be beat. Highly recommend.

Our mother purchased Unit 115 after she and our father came to St. Croix in July from Kansas, USA. Dad, an agronomist, was going down to the island to collect soil samples for a friend who purchased some land in St. Croix to plant a mango orchard.

Kansas in July is incredibly hot and the winters are harsh and cold.

Mom was surprised to find that the weather in St. Croix in July was WONDERFUL. The summer temperatures are mild and the gentle ocean breeze keeps you cool no matter where you are on the island.

At the end of her trip, she knew what she had to do: Dad came home with soil samples, and Mom came home with a condo!

My sister and I love St. Croix. We hope that you do too!

Why they chose this property

This unit is on the beach! Not NEAR the beach, but ON the beach where you can simply walk out the door, be on sand, and take a handful of steps to the ocean itself. Unit 115 is located in the Sugar Beach Resort, which is located just west of Christiansted.

What makes this property unique

The condo complex is close to Christiansted, which has lovely waterfront shops, great restaurants and historical sites. It is also a close drive to other great beaches and recreational sites, such as Cane Bay and Rainbow Beach. There is a restaurant just up Sugar beach if you want to take a stroll for drinks or a meal.
