The house was extremely clean and well maintained. The hostess had everything in tip-top shape and everything you could think of was provided! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others. We would definitely stay here again, we loved our visit!
This property is clean and comfortable and offers a lot of extras, making your stay even more relaxing! We have stayed at Lemon Hill twice and are already dreaming of our third stay!
What a cozy and beautiful little house in Amish country. Perfect you're looking to visit Shipshewana. Host was great! And the animals were so much fun!!
We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was so wonderful. We were greeted with cookies and the house was clean and welcoming. Loved the farm animals. Everything was so peaceful. Can't wait to return.
This house was absolutely perfect!! Our host Brenda was very quick to respond to any questions. The neighbors, goats, horses and donkeys were so fun to talk to and feed.We loved every minute of our trip. Highly recommend this house. Oh, the front porch with the swing and rocking chairs were our favorite. Love, the Sisters from Oshkosh, Wisconsin!!
We all LOVED Lemon Hill; my friends and I all agreed we would give it a 10/10 rating and would stay there again. The property was exactly as described and we loved the homemade cookies, upon arrival. The setting was very peaceful and relaxing. The goats and donkeys next door were very friendly and loved being fed carrots.
Brenda is a very gracious host and takes extra care to make the stay special. This is a very peaceful setting and if you're biking it is very close to the Pumpkinvine trail. We hope to return
After a small delay in getting our door code, we did receive it via text from the host, apologetic about the delay and quite kind about it, even left a sweet gift for us that we found the next morning. Very sweet country home, comfortable for the night, and the goats and donkeys enjoyed a bag of carrots for breakfast before we left! We would stay again! Thank you for your kind hospitality!
Lemon Hill Amish guest house was a wonderful, comfortable and charming experience! Don’t hesitate to book your stay in this quaint home. Everything you need, plus homemade cookies and farm fresh eggs await you. Appreciated the two comfy recliner chairs too!
My sisters and I were extremely happy with our stay. House was clean, kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfy. There was even a dozen eggs in the frig! We enjoyed feeding the donkeys and goats (Letty and Snow White). Host always quickly responded to our questions. She arranged a buggy ride with her Amish neighbor, Sharon who was very open to answering our questions. We had a blast!
Overall a very nice place, could of used a bit more dusting. Wellstocked and the cookies were a nice bonus. There were farm fresh eggs in the fridge but we did not cook while there. The animals were fun to watch and we did use the bonfire. We loved the porch swing and watching the buggies go by. The property was in a great area, close to all and Mooey's ice cream down the street was very good.
The home was a very peaceful place to stay, yet close to Shipshe. Loved the donkeys that were next to the house, too. The home was very clean and everything that we needed was there. I would not hesitate to stay again
If you’re looking for a quiet place to get away you’ve found it. A well equipped kitchen and bath, comfy beds and sitting areas inside and out. A perfect getaway!
Fantastic house! Easy access, clean, comfortable beds, kitchen was very user friendly - even used the BBQ grill! Neighboring farm animals were a fun bonus! Host was kind, very responsive. Would highly recommend this host and this house!
