An overall great Villa
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the Villa. Lots of amenities kept us plenty busy, the pool being the main attraction, and when the weather wasn't the best, lots of indoor and covered spaces to hang out. The host was very responsive, and helped us with requests quickly. We did have cleanliness and maintenance issues that were disappointing, and took away from the experience.
Pros:
–Lots of fun activities and amenities to keep a large group occupied the entire time.
–Pool was great! A good pool in a Villa is a must, and this pool didn’t disappoint!
–Fast communication with the host. The host responded within an hour. They were also great at accommodating requests
–Maintenance issues were fixed as quickly as you can expect with same day service.
–The hosts have done a great job making it seem like the Villa was in a private location.
Cons:
–Cleanliness was an issue. Outdoor amenities had a layer of dirt, outdoor chairs and cushions had mold growing on them, and the hot tub water was green. Inside areas only had a cursory clean so if you looked closer, we saw a bunch of dead bugs, hair in the showers, etc..
–A few obvious maintenance issues were disappointing. A bathroom door handle was broken, the hot tub was green, and the sauna didn’t have an outdoor handle.
–Had some water issues during a storm; missing gutters lead to water flowing into covered areas, standing water in front of houses making it difficult to enter, water running down a power outlet outside, etc..
