I was told my room would sleep 4 and it did not. My sister ended up renting a room elsewhere.

Other than that the smoking rules was crazy.

Acceptable.

We've been to Galena many times. Stayed in bed and breakfasts & rental homes on the territory. This was ok. Nothing fancy, clean. The problem was the queen bed was a Murphy bed that was so rickety and so uncomfortable we didn't sleep well. Otherwise it was just fine....

Nice room

The room was very nice. The room included a small kitchenette, fireplace, jacuzzi bathtub, and a deck with chairs and table. The only negative was the Murphy bed was uncomfortable And the legs at the foot of the bed were bent and hard to fold back into place.

Needs repairs and deep cleaning

The property itself is beautiful and well kept. The room needs a deep cleaning. We turned on the hot tub jets and brown crud shot out. There are bugs in the bathroom light fixture. The fireplace 60 minute timer setting was broken. No garbage can in the main living area. No maid service during stay.

Nice Option for Galena

Great location, a short drive into Galena. Quiet resort -perfect for a weekend away. We had an odd numbered unit which provided us with a beautiful view. COVID protocols in place making us very comfortable with our decision to stay here.. Wish they provided a couple extra towels in unit. Special note - must reserve slot for pool access in case you are not told at check in. Dont find yourself in your swimsuit with no access : - (

Nice stay, but noisy room!

My husband and I chose this hotel as it was close to the hills where we could take long morning walks and close enough to downtown Galena for entertainment. The hotel is used primarily for time-shares, so it was full. The room was clean, it had a murphy bed, which was new for us. It worked just fine. The room was clean and comfortable with a fireplace. My negative would be, you could hear every word the neighbors would say. We didn't like that at all. We probably would not stay again for this reason.

Beautiful area

The area is beautiful and historical. The resort is about 10 miles from Galena, Ill. which is about the civil war era. The resort is in a beautiful area and is undergoing remodeling when we were there.
