Everything was wonderful, would highly recommend this resort.
I did reach out twice to contact listed for questions prior to arrival and never received a reply to either question, that was the only negative...everything else was extremely good!

Secluded and comfortable
Based on the listing, we got the impression it was walkable into town, fifteen minutes or so which was one of the main reasons for choosing it. It’s tucked back in a residential neighborhood area, very quiet and feels cozy, but there are no sidewalks or roads you could walk on to get into town. We stayed in a two bedroom. It was clean but the smell of maple syrup lingered both days even with windows open and the door to one of the rooms wouldn’t shut. It’s a little tired looking but did the trick, a place to sleep and that’s all we needed after a night staying at the Stanley for the Halloween ball. Didn’t get to use the hot tub but we’re a little disappointed the pool was closed, would have used it.

Not as promised
When my reservation was made the description stated 1 King and 2 twins/1 queen, I had requested the 2br - King / 2 twins. Nothing was said that they would try to meet my request or requests are not guaranteed. I confirmed 6 days prior to my arrival and was confirmed my reservation was 2BR - King / 2 twins. I arrived and my room was 2 BR - 1 King / 1 Queen. Management at the front desk said that I would have to go back to who I made reservations with because the complex was completely full. I was traveling with 3 non family adults so the bed arrangements were not accommodating for our situation. Upon arrival home I have called the management company to let them know my room was not as confirmed. They apologized and said they will make it right. I am still waiting for them to get back with me and it has been 8 days of "we will have an answer for your tomorrow" when I have called. They have not called me back one time. As to the condo itself, it was very basic with hotel type furnishing and minimal kitchen cookware and supplies. Not what I had expected or is typical for VRBO's we have stayed in for the past several years. Along with dishes/cookware in the cabinets were dirty, as if they were just put in the cabinets vs being washed, and there was coffee grounds left in the coffee pot from the last patron. Of which I discussed this with management with a polite " I'm sorry". With all the accommodations available in Estes Park I would not stay here in the future. The management company was very quick to take your payment in full upfront months prior to my vacation but if things are not as expected they seem to be very slow in getting an answer. I am interested to see how they will make it right. Note: the pictures are of any condo that you might be assigned to not your condo specifically.

Beware this timeshare. U can be bumped!!Booked 2/9/25 for 3/14, 2-night stay, pd in full/advance.3/14 10:24AM we received a voicemail. “…due to unexpected availability issues, we are unable to accommodate your original reservation…”Called customer service, the first thing they asked was if we booked through WorldMark or through a 3rd party app (Vrbo, etc.). This seemed to make a difference and informed us they were 40% over capacity. We could take the new arrangements or cancel. We were told that we now had a single unit large enough for our group for the first night, and then for the second night we would need to move and be split into 2 studio units. They didn't have information on room layouts, number of beds, amenities, what we might do with our belongings between rooms. Basically, no answers, and we would have to find out after driving from Denver to Estes. Why did the move and the studio unit arrangement matter to me?We planned to have a full kitchen for meals and planned to stock the fridge for the weekendThe studios only had kitchen efficiency units and mini fridges. Not a full stove and no dishwasherWe had to check out at of the first unit at 11 and check back in to the studios around 4PM including emptying the fridge. We ended up not cooking all our meals and instead ate out at increased expenseThe studios each had a single queen bed so my 18 and 20 year old sons were sharing a queen bed.1500 characters is not enough to tell the whole story...
The listing said nothing about the facilities being closed due to Covid but when we arrived we were told they were closed. We chose this place believing they would be open because other listings stated when they were closed.
I used the filter for a water front property, and while the entire complex was near the river, our specific rental was not. Also Wi-Fi was available but we had to pay $5/day for it. No where on the listing did it mention the activity center being closed due to COVID regulations, and we only received a text telling us that a week prior to our trip — too late to change our reservation.
The fireplace was gas and had a very loud ticking timer (like old school hotel hot tubs) and it did not create the cozy ambiance we were wanting. All in all, this place is fine if you essentially need a hotel room to sleep at night and spend no day time in. It’s not a cozy mountain rental like we were led to believe. No views, no water, it’s just a hotel room with multiple buildings w a few rooms to each.

Wonderful but needs free wifi
I liked the unit we stayed in, first floor however we did not have a balcony or porch furniture to sit on as I noticed other units had. Didn't matter as we were there for only 2 nights. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. It's quiet and we did not have time to use the pool. I did use the laundry facilities located in a nearby building and they worked fine. It was free and I brought my own soap pods but there was a sign up to ask the front desk if you needed it. I do not know if you have to buy it. It's not walkable to get into town but the drive is not far.

Great rooms, great location
We found the room very comfortable. We love having the separate bedrooms and full kitchen. The Wyndam resort is located just outside of the national park and about3 miles from downtown Estes Park, meaning you do not have to go thru town to get to the park. Staff at resort is outstanding
