Welcome to the Summit Retreat Guesthouse, a private pet-friendly escape nestled atop a mountain outside Brevard and Rosman, North Carolina. NOTE: All Wheel Drive or 4x4 is a MUST HAVE to access this property. Embrace both nature and luxury in this brand-new vacation rental, complete with unparalleled mountain views, as well as opportunities for adventure and relaxation. This home boasts panoramic views of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and is a perfect home base for guests who plan to fish or paddle the French Broad River, hike or bike in Dupont State Forest or Pisgah National Forest or explore the beautiful Downtown Brevard. Summit Retreat is a thoughtfully curated 2-bedroom oasis with 1 bathroom and accommodates up to 4 guests, plus your furry friend! The first bedroom features a king-sized bed and the second bedroom includes 2 twin-sized beds. Each bedroom has a Smart TV. The shared bathroom is complete with a large, tiled shower and single sink vanity. The open living area features another large Smart TV, modern and comfortable seating, and board games for winding down in the evenings. The kitchen features butcher block countertops, stainless steel appliances, a Keurig, and windows showcasing the magnificent views. The outdoor space at Summit Retreat is what sets this property apart. The large, covered deck is complete with a large table and comfortable seating, so guests can sip their morning coffee, relax after a day of local adventures, or enjoy the spectacular sunset views while dining al fresco on a meal prepared on the provided gas grill. Additionally, the homeowner is sharing access to the hiking trails on the property - ideal for guests who want to adventure without leaving the mountain! The road up the mountain to the property is gravel and narrow. Additionally, a full flight of stairs are required to access the home. The garage below the home stays locked and is not available to guests.

Each home we manage is stocked with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable. Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation, with a link to the essential information needed to enjoy your stay, like the door code and directions. The digital guidebook has information on the property and on the area, including restaurants, grocery stores, and popular destinations. Guests can go straight to the property they have reserved at check-in time.

The views were incredible! The host very attentive and reaponded very quickly to any questions we had. The cabin was very nice and clean. We he bed were so comfortable! The drive up the mountain was exactly how the host describes it!

Breathtaking Views

The house provided an exceptional experience; it was immaculately clean and the breathtaking views were every bit as stunning as described. The 1-mile drive up, while steep and narrow in spots, was manageable with our AWD vehicle. For safety, we recommend returning before dark. Once there, the strong Wi-Fi connection and the location's quiet, fresh mountain air make it an ideal retreat for remote work or a peaceful getaway.

Meet what we were looking for in blend of proximity to Brevard/activities and seclusion with a view. As notated the driveway is a bit of adventure in itself but easily navigable with the right vehicle. Property itself was clean and appropriately appointed. Would definitely stay again for our next vacation to the area.

Beautiful cabin

We spent thanksgiving week here. The cabin was exactly like the photos. Very clean and cozy. The views were spectacular. The communication with the host was amazing. The drive up to the cabin is exactly how the host described it. It’s a bit steep, bumpy and not paved. Our kids saw it as an adventure every day. We loved staying here and hope to come back soon.

Summit Retreat Guesthouse

Summit Retreat was wonderful for our Fall getaway. The house is new, clean and pet friendly. We grilled every evening and sat on the deck enjoying the spectacular mountain views. With the crisp Fall air we were thrilled with the fire pit. White Squirrel Realty was super! They communicate well and are extremely helpful. We will definitely be back.

Directions to the cabin were great. The warning about driveway is spot on. The guest house is really clean and well stocked. We would suggest that a fire extinguisher be in the cabin.

Fantastic Mountain Cabin!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! Conveniently located near Gorges Sate Park, Brevard and Cashiers. The cabin is in amazing condition, great appliances/wifi/TV's. Beautiful long range mountain views. We'll be back soon!

The house was amazing, clean, and the sunrise and sunsets views were breathtaking. We really loved the views, the distance away from city noise and the fresh air. We had a pile of nice dry wood pile for the outdoor fire pit waiting for us. Next time I book this house, I will get all stocked up for several days and work from there. The WiFi was better than at my house. The mountain road going up to the house was about 1 mile and steep and narrow in some spots, just as mentioned, but the drive was ok with our AWD and we made sure we got back before dark just to be safe.

Gorgeous Sunrise & Sunset Views, Prepare for the Driveway

We arrived at the place late in the evening, and we found it just as described. The host provided firewood beforehand for a very small fee, and it was waiting for us when we arrived. The views from inside the house and from the porch are absolutely spectacular. Regarding the "4x4 Needed" bit: the gravel driveway is long and it has a few steep sections. We didn't have any issues with it in our manual transmission Subaru Forester. It will add 5 or 10 minutes to your phone's estimated arrival time for directions. It's worth it for the views.

We are looking for additional property in the area. We found his guest house and it was amazing. Beautiful. Clean. Updated. And I’m picky! Highly recommend. Drive up is a hoot! Be prepared at night. But so worth it!
