Do not book with VRBO

My husband and I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend because we were traveling from out of state for a wedding. We were two hours away when we got a call from the groom saying that the property was overbooked and the Wyndham did not have a room for us. I called the property, since they did not contact me about this, and they said that that was true and they were looking for other accommodations for us. Which is ridiculous because I booked our stay back in January 2024, for this July weekend. When we arrived, they did in fact accommodate us because we booked so far in advance but I was told they no longer do business with VEBO/HomeAway. If looking to stay here, book directly with Wyndham. I personally will never stay here again after the horrible customer service - not calling me to let me know about the issue.
