The property was beautiful and had many amenities. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Our dog absolutely loved the big backyard. Walking distance to downtown too!
Convenient to local distilleries but out of the traffic in the bigger towns. We are repeat visitors and appreciated the comfortable house and welcoming hosts.
My friends and I were on a girl’s trip and the place was perfect! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location was close to all the places we wanted to go.
Older home but in good condition. Downstairs bathroom is not right next to bedroom- its across dining room and small. Sound machine and earplugs provided which was very nice as roadway was noisy. Host spent time with me to get TV signed in which was very nice.
Charming, nicely decorated comfortable home. Every effort was made to provide anything a person might need. Location to distilleries was excellent. It is in a high traffic area by a train track.
We really enjoyed our stay for a week. Perfect location for touring the bourbon trail. The home was clean and comfortable. I normally really miss my own bed but the beds were very comfortable. We had our 2 dogs with us and they loved the fenced in yard. The traffic and train are a little noisy but the host provides everything you need to mitigate the noise. Fans, ear plugs and sound machines. We enjoyed hearing the train though. Some of the traffic noise was a little loud but that’s just life on Main St.The town is small and friendly. Loved the little shops and restaurants. We would recommend this home for a vacation stay.
Upstairs there are only two bedrooms upstairs: queen and double size, and a large elegant bathroom.
Downstairs there is one large master bedroom king size and full bathroom. So three bedrooms total.
There is a full dining room a large living room and a spacious kitchen. The house has a large trex covered front porch and large back concrete porch. The yard is fully fenced in private wooden white fence.
We enjoy both our 2 and 4 legged guest.
Very clean and wonderful beds. For an older property it was well taken care of and handy to local activities without the busy hassle of a big city. Very welcoming when you first step in. Thats a sign they care about your rental. We would do it again.
Wonderful property. Backyard was perfect for relaxing. Fire pit had logs and starter fluid. Fence was very sturdy for dogs. Air conditioning was great! Would highly recommend.
The house was very comfortable and in a good location for everything we wanted to do. Our host had great communication! We also loved the large fenced yard—so did our dogs! Would definitely stay again.
Very nice house, they had everything we needed. Each bedroom had there own heating/cooling units and that was nice. The location was great to go to the distilleries. There are two wineries and seven distilleries within a half hour driving time from the house. We went to Hanna's (downtown) to eat and the food was good. The people at Hanna's were very nice. We would stay here again.
Patricia's home was very convenient to all the locations we visited during our stay. The house was clean and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We did not have a dog, but the house is perfect for anyone traveling with pets with a large fenced in back yard. We would gladly return in the future!
The house was clean and exactly as described. Good location to hit various places on the bourbon trail. Had an evening fire that we all enjoyed too. We enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again.
We met another couple for a weekend of distillery visits and this was the perfect location. We were a short drive from the distilleries we wanted to visit and we were near good food. The house was clean and had all the amenities we could need. The home is located on a busy road and near the railroad tracks so if you’re a light sleeper you might want to take that into account … but the hosts are very up front with that information in their listing. The sound level did not bother any of us. We had 2 pups with us and the fenced in back yard was a huge plus for us ! Unfortunately, with the heat and humidity while we were there, we did not get to take advantage of the backyard and fire pit … but it sure looked like we would have had a good time ! All communications from Patricia was timely and clear. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.
Super cute historic home that has some great improvements! The house is very well stocked, and the owners have thought of everything - incredibly comfortable adjustable mattresses, sound machines for the occasional train, individual AC units for every bedroom, and a lovely backyard. Great base for our week in Kentucky! If you are very noise sensitive, it may not be the best house, but with the noise machines, we were quite happy.
