This top-floor Kiawah Island vacation rental has been updated and offers a light and airy feel. It is only steps to the beach, so you will be able to enjoy the ocean sounds while relaxing on the deck furniture.

Whether you are enjoying your day on the island or heading into the city, this Windswept Villa will be great to come home to!

Located just 40 minutes from historic Charleston, where you can enjoy its incredible charm, fascinating history, and an abundance of sites, activities, and restaurants. On Kiawah’s East Beach, Windswept Villas are only a 5-minute walk to The Sanctuary, with its exceptional restaurants, bars, and spa, and is within walking distance of the East Beach Tennis Club and Turtle Point Golf Course.

The fully equipped kitchen was updated in 2020 and has everything you’ll need and opens to the dining area. The colorful dining room set has seating for four.

The dining area opens up to the main living area with bright furnishings, cable television, DVD player, and a stereo. The living area has access to the open deck with bright bench seating for you to enjoy the fresh salt air of the island. The bedroom has a king-size bed, a private bathroom, and access to the deck.

This villa is also fully furnished with a washer and dryer. An outside shower is located near the beach access for rinsing off after a day in the sand. WiFi access is available.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $150. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

This lovely villa was the perfect spot for a long weekend getaway to Kiawah Island. With the beach just steps away, a comfortable bed, and nice apportioned kitchen, my husband and I enjoyed a relaxing visit to a favored place.

Nice Unit and Great Location

The condo had a well equipped kitchen and plenty of towels & Linens. The unit was nice and bright, we loved the porch. The mattress and couch seem a little dated. We loved the location of the unit, steps to the beach!

Steps from the beach

The Villa was just right for my husband and me on our week-long stay. It was in a perfect location for us to enjoy the amazing beach (just steps away) and get to Freshfields for groceries, shopping, or eating out. The villa’s layout allowed us to both have virtual work meetings without distractions. The lovely deck was my office! Our only disappointments were the mattress needs to be replaced because we could feel the springs, and a couple more quality pans for stovetop cooking would be nice. We definitely recommend the Villa and hope to stay here again!

Overall great. Close to the beach. Easy access to east beach amenities. Very dusty under bed, not enough forks and spoons, coffee cups. The noisy couch not in best condition. These a minor but hope you take it as comstructive improvement.

Roaches

The property appeared cosmetically nice but has an infestation with roaches. During our 5 day stay we saw over 10 roaches, particularly in the bathroom. This condo needs to be completely remodeled (I.e. bathroom gutted) to get rid of the roaches.

Thank you for your feedback. Please again accept our apologies for any issues experienced during your stay. From our records, I see that you reported just a few of the bugs in the home on Tuesday after your Sunday arrival. Our came out the following morning and sprayed the outdoor area. Per your request, we did not spray the inside of the unit. Unfortunately, being a barrier island, Palmetto Bugs are quite common and native to the area. During especially rainy times, they occasionally find their way in the home. I can advise that this unit and all of our units have quarterly treatments. I am pleased to advise that no other guests throughout this busy season have reported similar issues or complaints.

Spring getaway

Property has been renovated, and certainly very cute. We were disappointed to find multiple issues with attention to detail with this property, including no hand soap, only half of roll of toilet paper left and expected to last us for days, limited space to put clothes in a drawer, one of which was completely full of clothes from another person‘s visit, multiple lights out on the stove and in kitchen areas, no deck furniture to sit on the deck. We did appreciate the properties managers response that we had to initiate the first day to bring us soap, toilet paper, and fix some of the lights we requested. Overall frustrated that we had to bring any of this to the attention of the property managers at all. Not the level of VRBO experience we have had in Kiawah by far. Most of the properties that we have stayed in have even had basic salt and pepper and even perhaps some olive oil around. There was absolutely nothing. The property has been beautifully well done. The shower was awesome… But overall doesn’t meet the standards that I’ve come to expect from renting in Kiawah for more than 15 years. Plus it’s a three story walk up with no elevator which I was not aware of for my 79-year-old mother.

Nice condo just off the beach

It makes a difference that this condo is so close to the beach; it's just a short stroll, so getting there with a towel and umbrella is no hassle at all. The condo itself had a nice vaulted ceiling and is well maintained.

Nice Choice

This is a very nice condo in an excellent location for beach access. Condo is neat and clean with a super comfortable bed and cute little deck I would have given five stars, but the condo is lacking in a few things. The bedroom absolutely needs a chair or stool - there is no where to sit to put on your shoes. The bed doesn’t work because it’s so high. My husband has Parkinson’s Disease and this was a definite issue for him This might only apply to us, but grab bars in the bathroom are highly recommended. It got very chilly while we were there snd there were no blankets for the bed. A nice touch would be some blankets/throws in the living room for TV viewing There are no placemats or napkins which would be nice. We took out the trash only to find out there were no trash bags!!! Just a little more thoughtfulness as to guests needs would be appreciated

The one thing that would have made the stay perfect would have been a more comfortable bed - much too soft. Aker Ellis delivered everything they promised and were very professional to work with.The bike gear was such a nice addition to the rental. It was used daily - delivered before we arrived at the rental which was a nice surprise. Could not have asked for anything better.

All five stars except for the property's general condition, you can tell it's newly renovated as there are leftover building materials under the bed. In my opinion, those should be taken out as they will accumulate dust.
