If you're feeling adventurous, you can take off on a jet ski, or parasail above the Emerald Coastline. Love fishing? Then you'll want to charter a half or full day of deep sea fishing on one of Destin's world famous fishing fleet. This is the world's luckiest fishing village, by the way.

Always great at the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always have a great experience with Alicia Hollis (nearly 25 years). The staff is friendly, helpful and always willing to make your stay comfortable. As far as the unit we stayed in, EM 424, it’s in dire need of updating but it was clean. The shower was amazing! It’s a good location being close to the pool and beach and the free beach service is a bonus. One thing to note about that unit and I was very disappointed about was...no hangers in the closet!!! At least there was some drawer space but no hangers was a first! We also were there at a very busy time during fall breaks (which we won’t do again) and had a hard time sitting on the patio a couple nights due to the strong smell of weed! It even came in through our bathroom vents a couple times. Lesson learned, We should’ve complained about the weed smell so it could be investigated as recreational is not legal in Florida. There are a lot of nicer, remodeled units in the El Matador for the same money. Still a great visit to our favorite vacation spot to relax!

Overall great for the price

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great. Loved having a security guard. Overall the condo was good. Needs updates and a few things fixed. The patio furniture had something to be desired. The chairs, if you want to call them that, were made of pvc piping and one was broke.
