Place was nice, very clean. Had a nice pool and hot tub area. Also had a nice little bar area, it was small, but adequate. Hotel manager was very personable. For the money you can’t go wrong. Not really walkable to downtown, but a very short drive.

The hotel was very cozy and clean. The pool and exercise room were closed for maintenance which was not specified when we made our reservation but the hot tub was available which we did enjoy. The breakfast was nice and included some hot items. Over all we had a nice stay.

Cozy Inn experience

My husband and I had a great time at this cozy inn. A mixture of a bed and breakfast, hotel and cottage. The Hot Tub amenities were a bonus. Also free breakfast its always sweet. I highly recommend this place for a family or couples stay in Galena.

We didn’t check in til late, very kind person working the desk. The Inn was fine, little out dated. Breakfast was fine. Rooms were clean. All was well. We were right next to the breakfast so that was really loud. Would definitely request a room not next to it.

It was perfect! Manager, John, was extremely helpful. Location was perfect . Just a brief couple minutes from downtown... close to convenience stores and gas stations. Great little free breakfast. We had to leave a day earlier than we planned because of the impending snow storm but not a problem

Room -Edges of carpet( between wall and carpet, dirtyand dusty, tops of dresser( under glass ) and on top filthy. Bathroom / Host -John very freindly and concerned for our needs. Most personnel very nice . Teresa Excellent , very nice good personalized conversation in bar section . Breakfast - didn’t know about no cheese rule Only on certain days , but kurt reply not necessary . Hot tub/ pool area too hot and steamy , Couldn’t breathe

The shops are sort of Nearby, said walking distance but I would say for sure biking and driving is more realistic! No biggie, our biggest frustration was with the rain insurance we purchased as it rained (not sprinkled) 3 of the 4 days we were there! The insurance says yeah no! So I would never buy that again as I feel we got scammed on that one!! The inn was great! The staff was awesome! The area was a blast!
