Unwind at this peaceful year round cozy cottage that sits far back from the road in a very private and secluded setting. Enjoy a hiking trail from your front door and many more trails in the area with rewarding views at the peak or enjoy the waterfalls near by. Amherst beach 15 min. away can be used by non residents on week days only. You can go to many restaurants in town or stay back and have yourself a barbecue on the grill. Have a night at the Milford Drive In's or enjoy a camp fire with your own fire pit. (Wood is supplied for free) or stay in with the big 55" tv.

This place was great! It fit our needs perfectly. Kitchen had everything - and fridge even had items for us to use, something you don’t find in every Vrbo property. Host Dan was very responsive to any message we sent. Outdoor are was perfect for bbq and a fire. Would stay here again.

Great cottage for my family. It had everything we needed to live for the week we stayed. After i made a mistake for booking, Dan made sure we were all set for payment and it was no problem. I would highly recommend this property.

Cozy cottage

The location was perfect for us - close to my brother's house for a reunion there. The cottage was clean and the six of us slept comfortably. The drawstring light in the bathroom and step down into the bathroom at night was a bit challenging, but overall a fine cottage.

We had a problem with ck in -- that the host said was VRBOs fault -- it was dark after a long day for us, so it didn't matter whose fault it was, it was extremely stressful. The check in email we received had the wrong address for the property. In addition, while the host has posted a flag at the end of the driveway, there was absolutely no lighting -- if you are coming after dark - beware.
