This high elevation 1 bedroom suite at Bluebird Chalet is nestled in the Pines and Aspens and provides a semi-rural setting within 3 minutes of all the amenities Woodland Park, Colorado offers. The suite provides all of the comforts of home with a queen bed and private bathroom and a separate relaxing area for TV watching, cooking, dining and laundry. For business or pleasure, it's a tranquil setting. The patio dining with grill provides an opportunity to enjoy the fresh and sometimes crisp mountain air. The night sky provides a brilliant array of stars and recognizable constellations and an added benefit of smores around the campfire. The county offers many opportunities from hiking, fishing, gold mines with history, wolf centers, giant sequoias, fossil beds, kayaking, water boarding, canoeing, fishing, hiking and so much more.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Wash and put away the dishes and cookware. Remove food from the refrigerator. Put kitchen trash/garbage bag(s) in the shed. Hang all wet towels to dry and place soiled dry towels in the hamper.
Please use my apartment as if you are a guest in my home and make yourself comfortable but show respect by using the place in a responsible manner.
This is a no smoking or vaping property. THC usage is legal in your personal home in Colorado but not as a guest in mine.

Thoughtful place

This place had all of the amenities and conveniences that you would need if you wanted to stay at a place that was home away from home. We enjoyed our time and the property was wonderful and our host was very kind.

Very nice

The property was as described. Susan met us when we arrived and answered our questions. The suite was well stocked, comfortable, quiet and very clean. The location was at the edge of town and we were ok with that. I hope we are able to stay again sometime!

Hiking trip

As advertised. the owner met us to check us in, which I appreciated. It was clean and had plenty of space. You could tell her to put a lot of thought into it. There were laundry facilities with laundry detergent, food that was available in the pantry, well stocked coffee bar, and extra toiletries if you forgot anything. The location is good for what we were there for, Felt safe and it was very nice outdoor accommodations as well

Having lived half my life in Colorado and the other half in other states, I can say Colorado is my home. I have loved exploring the state including the quaint touristy towns and the many back country hiking trails. Just recently retired has given me an opportunity to do a little traveling to experience other vacation rentals and resorts. But, my favorite time spent is hosting quests from all over the world who are seeking the beauty and fresh air that is found here at my place. Having a flow of guests on a regular basis, provides me an opportunity to meet many special folks.

Why they chose this property

This is my 2nd home in Teller County Colorado. This property is not as rural as my first but it has the feel of being rural and within 3 minutes of Woodland Park, Colorado with easy access in all kinds of weather. The small neighborhood of 13 homes is usually quiet with very helpful and friendly neighbors.

What makes this property unique

The property is full of pine and aspen and provides an outdoor space of relaxing in our cool mountain air. Although it has a feeling of being rural, it is close to all the amenities a small mountain town provides. The chalet, with a private apartment allows me to share this unique property with many travelers.
