This is a delightful small cabin. It was perfect for us for a 3 night stay. The hosts were very accommodating & welcoming! It is a quiet little escape! We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed well equipped.
My family enjoyed staying at this charming home immensely! It was very clean, comfortable, and decorated with country charm. The hosts went above and beyond to be helpful. We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting. We definitely plan to return!
We absolutely loved it! It was quiet and clean and cute place to stay. The host was very accommodating and so sweet we absolutely will stay again and highly recommend this place!
My wife has family near by and this location was fantastic to visit them, quiet, plenty of property, porch and clean. Loved the little touches the host included and can’t wait for our next visit to enjoy this property again.
We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were outstanding and communicated with us and made themselves available for anything that we needed. I have to say that I felt specially welcome when they contacted me offering to leave us some firewood so we could enjoy the beautiful outdoors during our stay. I will definitely stay here again!
We arrived on a rainy day during our motorcycle vacation. The host was very communicative and helpful. Check in was easy and they were very welcoming and accommodating. Property was clean and comfortable, very home-like. We had a great stay.
Our stay was nothing short of magical, and it was all thanks to our truly wonderful host. Her hospitality went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Due to bad weather, we had a very late arrival at 1 AM, yet she stayed awake the entire time, communicating with us frequently to ensure we were on the right track and guiding us with perfect instructions. Her kindness didn't stop there; she was always incredibly responsive and sweet, even coming to our rescue with a tool at midnight on a Saturday when one of our kids accidentally locked a bathroom door. Her thoughtfulness truly made our trip special. She suggested a fantastic nearby spot perfect for a family day out with the kids and even surprised our children with a few thoughtful gifts that they absolutely adored. To top it all off, she even let us have a couple of extra hours on our checkout day, which we really appreciated. The house itself was a perfect retreat—spacious, impeccably clean, and nestled in a stunning countryside location. The roads leading to the property were easy to navigate, making it simple to find. We loved waking up to the peaceful surroundings and were delighted to spot deer, turtles, and even eagles almost daily. The proximity to several beautiful state parks was an added bonus for our family adventures.I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone seeking a peaceful, laid-back countryside escape. The combination of a beautiful home and an exceptionally gracious host made our stay great!
Let me start off by saying that we always give people the benefit of the doubt when writing a review. I believe we need to write this review because unfortunately, we were left extremely disappointed. I chose this house over another house (closer to our destination) because of the 10/10 reviews. One hour before check-in I had to reach out to the host to ask how we should get into the house because I had not received any communication prior. She replied quickly so there were no problems getting in. My son had to use the bathroom as soon as we got there. When we flushed the toilet, it wreaked of sewage. I figured the smell would go away and it was a one time occurrence. My husband arrived an hour after us and said the whole house smelled like sewage. It seemed as if every time we flushed the toilet or used the sink in that bathroom, it made everything smell like that. My daughter’s wanted to sleep in the room with the trundle bed. As I pulled the trundle bed out, it was filled with crumbs and what appeared to be mouse droppings. At the end of the first night, we realized there was no extra toilet paper anywhere in the house. We ran out the next day to grab some ourselves. When we went to shower, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were completely empty. Unfortunately, it appeared the host was not prepared for our stay whatsoever. On a positive note, the house is decorated adorable and the property is amazing. The host left us a little basket of goodies and a hand written note
