Guest access
There are three living spaces here at Melrose Soace: The Main House (which we live in), The Nomad Pad (the long-term rental studio you’ll be in) and The MaisonNet (a 1 bedroom short-term tiny home next door). The NomadPad and MaisonNet share the large back yard and both have access to the washer and dryer located in the shed. You’ll have your own entrance through the side gate of the main house. All locks are smart and will open with the code you received when you booked.
Other things to note
In an effort to maintain a secure premises, there are visible exterior cameras in the ally-way entrance, the back yard, as well as ring doorbells which monitor people coming and going. Cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras inside the guest house. There is a noise monitor in the unit to detect if sound levels go beyond a certain level and can detect parties. THIS DOES NOT RECORD SOUND, just alerts us when the decibels get too high, especially 10pm to 8am.

Additional rules
We want you to have an amazing stay, but there are some rules we have to stick to.
- There is a $65 charge per guest per night if a 3rd guest joins you (though we do not recommend it)
- All guests must be on the airbnb reservation.
- Other guests are allowed to visit, though no overnights are allowed unless discussed beforehand and paid for.
- We have only one guest parking pass - there is a $60 fee if not returned.
- There will be a replacement charge for any cups, towels, pillows etc. that are taken
- There is a $200 fine for smoking or vaping and substance inside the The NomadPad (in the back yard or alleyway away from open windows is fine, however, if the inside of the airbnb smells of smoke we will initiate the fine)
- Dogs are not allowed in the backyard alone at any time.
- Please walk your dog off property. Dogs should not use the bathroom in the back yard (if there is an accident there are poop bags attached to the laundry shed).
