An excellent option to experience your stay in Boston in a comfortable, spacious, full of natural light apartment, central to all amenities (bus/commuter rail/super market/coffee places, typical small neighborhood restaurants).
The apartment is located in the second floor of a 2 story house and features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, central AC, fireplace, WI-FI, washer & dryer in unit, hardwood floors, working fireplace, etc. It is fully renovated and it can accommodate comfortably 6 people. It features classical New England woodwork : take a look at photos as they speak for themselves.
Commute to Copley Sq via commuter rail (should you chose to not drive through beautiful Jamaica/Riverway along Jamaica Pond) is a clean 15 minute ride door to door : to South Station (the financial district & waterfront) a 17 minute ride.

Distance to Boston College a 15 minute drive city streets, through Brookline. Northeastern University, New England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory & all other Fenway schools a 13 minute commuter rail ride (Ruggles stop on commuter rail route).

Excellent stay with family

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the property. It was very easy to commute by car and by T into the city. The house was very clean and comfortable, and had a nice layout and overall location in West Roxbury (close to the supermarket, coffee, food, etc.). Parking on site was very easy as well. Highly recommended.

Arrive late due to travel issues. The place was perfect for us. Nice location. Went to Maria’s pizza. And a little breakfast place on center street, Rox. All was good. Beds comfortable and shower good pressure. Go green!!

The property is wonderful! It’s in a quiet residential area, but it’s a quick 5 minute walk to restaurants and a grocery store. The property had everything we needed, and was comfortable.

We really loved the location. So close to mass transit. We were pleased with items that were provided, paper towel, toilet paper, some spices, and laundry detergent. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely accommodations

What a wonderful apartment. Clean and convenient for sure Just as described in the listing. West Roxbury is a beautiful neighbourhood. We took an Uber into the Sox game and drove downtown the next day for a tour and both were easy. And there really is parking! We had a great time and certainly appreciated the central air- it was a hot week but we were able to relax and recharge in this cool and comfy gem.

Great place in suburb outside of Boston

A bit of an older house with older decor, which is to be expected for the Boston area. The appliances are old and not very efficient, especially the dryer and dishwasher. The couch is also somewhat uncomfortable, especially if you’re traveling with older folk who have difficulty sitting so close to the ground. Located in a great, safe neighborhood with easy walking to coffee shops, the grocery store and commuter rail. Refreshed decor, furniture and appliances would overall make the stay much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Very short stay

It was very nice. Had to climb several flights of stairs to access, which was problematic for one member of group. She could do it but it slowed us down. Also, check out time was made one hour earlier after we had booked and paid. Due to the mobility impairment and sleep deprivation, we were about 10 minutes late getting out. Apparently owner lives below. As we were leaving, someone popped out to talk to us. Perhaps jokingly he asked "how bad is it?" about the unit to my adult daughter. We had gotten in at 2 am after a delayed flight, were on our way to visit a dying relative for the last time which we had shared with the owner when we booked. This seemed unkind especially when we had abided by all rules, taken out all the trash, washed the dishes and put used towels in hamper. Given the vast number of rules and special considerations the owners wanted, I would expect them to extend the same courtesy to guests.

The property is well located and very clean. We did find there was a bit of an odour and wondered if it might be related to cleaning products. We had no issues that required any attention. The check in and check out instructions were very clear. My only suggestion for additional amenities would be some body wash (even a small amount to tide us over til we could get to a store) and something beside the bathroom sink as there was no where to put cosmetics.

The property provided us with a lovely experience of the outskirts of Boston. Getting to and from the city from Roxbury was so easy, as was getting to and from Foxborough for the Steelers vs. Patriots game that we made this trip for. We would highly recommend this property to others that are planning to visit the Boston area in the future!

The house was perfect for our little group. It was close to a bus stop and grocery store. The only thing I wished I knew before I packed a heavy suitcase is that the property is on a 2nd level and the stairs are very narrow. Besides that it was comfy, clean, and perfect for our girls trips.
