Wonderful five nights at Echo Lake property. Everything was as presented. Owner was responsive to our communications. Beautiful cabin at the end of a private country lane.
This property is as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures. One of the bedrooms is rather small. We had one of the most relaxing vacations I think I've ever had. Well kept. I wish someone told us about the sprinklers coming on each day around 6 pm.
Wonderful stay in the Adirondacks. Cabin right on a small lake called Warner Pond. No problems with directions and finding the property. If you are looking for quiet time and not having close neighbors this is perfect. I chose this property due to it being centrally located for activities we had planned. Venturing to Lake Placid, Lake George, Loon Lake, Schroon Lake, hiking trails, beautiful OK Slip Waterfall, boat tours, rail cycling, Saratoga Springs to see Little Big Town in concert and more were all easily within less than a one hour drive, some even within 30 minutes. The ladies used the paddle boards and paddle boat provided with our cabin, venturing out to the water trampoline for some water fun. So much to do and so little time. This is the only vacation I have ever taken where no one turned on the TV the entire week! This cabin is listed for 6-8 people but it could easily accommodate a dozen and still not feel crowded. Close to numerous good restaurants. Grocery store, gas station are nearby. We were all very impressed and pleased with our stay. Would definitely recommend this rental. Vacationers will not be disappointed!!!
Drove 4 hours to North Creek. Up this dirt/ rock road. Came up to the house and loved the exterior. Walked in and it was a true log cabin experience. Furniture was definitely dated as if you lived back in the country Cowboy era.
My guests and I took a short walk to the lake. Grabbed one of the paddle boats. Wish they were better maintained, but we still had an amazing time. The lake was so clean, you can see the bottom.
Trying to get the TV working was a challenge. Called Rick, and he told me it’s Apple TV only. No issue for us, we had streaming service. The house had everything you would need and much more. I had to say I was blown away with that.
The next morning I contacted Rick again because the lower level of house wasn’t getting AC. He sent his property manager immediately. House don’t have vents on the lower level but we left windows open and we weee good.
All and all, my family and friends had a great time. Rick and the property manager were both amazing to deal with. I gave Rick some suggestions to update the property, really hope he takes it. Only negative that can’t be addressed, is the drive to Lake George. It’s 23-26 minute drive. But I do love to drive so it didn’t bother me too bad. I would definitely go back.
