Had a wonderful stay at the Wild Ivy cottage. We were a group of seven 60 year old high school friends that were reconnecting over a long weekend. The cottage was perfect for us! Highly recommend.
Everyone had a really great time The place was fantastic, clean and very relaxing would like to come back next year maybe mother nature will cooperate a little better All the more reason we were glad to have a good place to stay thanks for a great little vaca
Nice place, comfortable stay lots of space. Everything was great except for the spiral staircase. We're an older group of friends so it was more difficult to navigate than it might be for younger group.Host was very responsive to every question we had. Nice place to relax with friends and close to lots of hiking and nature!
This home is in a great, quiet location with plenty of space for everyone to gather—both indoors and outdoors. It was perfect for our group! One thing to note: the main access to the bedrooms is a spiral staircase, which could be tricky for small children or older guests. Just something to keep in mind. Other than that, we absolutely loved our stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this cute A frame house! So much room on the inside and out! It was perfect for a family/friend group! There is plenty of room to entertain inside when in the kitchen area with the large living room area and when kids want to separate there is another nice area in the basement! Outside is a large deck with lots of privacy from neighbors. It is also great with being close to Racoon Lake! Will definitely stay again!
We were there to celebrate my mother’s 81st birthday! We had everything we needed to cook for her indoors and out!
This is one of the most spacious VRBO’s I’ve ever seen.
The hosts were extremely responsive.
Excellent stay!!!
Great little get away with lots of room for the family!
Stayed 3 nights and had a great vacation with family. The host was always quick to respond to our questions. Like the wooded lots that the home is located on. Neighbors were very friendly. Will definitely call Nader this location on future visits!
The place was great and it was fun being in an A-frame. It was a quiet area and on a dead end road. The area has limited cell service but they have wifi available for you. Suggestion is to bring a blanket or two for the couch in the basement. If you want the upstairs cool the basement will be cold. We will be staying here again if we make it back to the area.
Beautiful private space for a great girls get away! Spacious family room seating for viewing TV and spacious kitchen and breakfast bar with large party seating for game nights. Enjoyed the games we brought, but loved the extra games provided! Rooms were clean and not "scented", perfect for our fragrant sensitive group. They even used hypoallergenic laundry soap for our bedding and towels. Large refrigerators and all the high end kitchen essentials. Especially loved the extras with the Halloween decor plates, decor, pumpkins and more. What a memorable "class of 1978" 65th birthday girls trip!
Had an amazing time. Good location, nice place, plenty of room. I will book this place again. Suggest curtains on all windows especially the bedrooms. Carpet should be on concrete basement floor. It was very cold. Other than that a perfect place to enjoy and telax.
A little challenging to contact owner re: an issue with the house - due to no wifi and limited phone service. But once aware of the situation, he instantly responded. The house was so awesome and spacious - perfect for our family! Lots of outside places to enjoy.
The host was responsive, easy check-in. The place was relatively clean. We did have to clean as we go, plates and pans did have to get washed before use. Around the toilets and shower needed a deep clean.
The property had everything we needed. A full kitchen complete with dishes, pots and pans, a microwave and coffee maker. All of the rooms were very spacious. The host was very responsive to all messages. I would definitely recommend this property. Close to state parks and other recreation. It was beautifully decorated. The only thing I might recommend is curtains or blinds on the sliding doors in the upstairs bedroom that faces the road.
Simply gorgeous!
When we initially discovered no wifi and little to no cell service, we were unsure about communication or even planning out the day since we're unfamiliar with the area, but it turns out a couple of days spent at the lake, paired with card games, board games, and great company was all we ever needed.
A HUGE thank you to the host for providing such an awesome place to relax and "get away"!!
Miss S.
