This Oceanfront DOG FRIENDLY Outer Banks vacation rental home "A Carolina Conch" is located at 4203 North Virginia Dare Trail in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina at Mile Post 3 3/4. The layout of this home is a traditional 2 living level beach cottage with a ground level entry and a full bathroom. On the 1st level you will find a great room that consist of living area with 1 TV, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. This area has ocean views from all corners. Enjoy the rolling surf view and expansive ocean views while sitting on the deck chairs of the oceanfront deck. This nicely furnished and well equipped home will make your vacation a comfortable one. Also on this floor is Bedroom #1 which has 2 Single beds and Bedroom #2 which has a Queen bed with 1 TV. These 2 bedrooms share a full bathroom. On the top level there is Bedroom #3 which has a King Bed and 1TV and Bedroom #4 which has 1 Single bed and 1 Queen bed w/1TV. These 2 bedrooms also share a full bath. The below amenities are provided as well as a Basketball backboard, Baby Equipment (pack-n-play & highchair). PETS (dogs only and 2 pet maximum) ARE PERMITTED in this home. Pet Fee is $250 per pet. The turnover day for this home is Saturday. Guest must bring their own bed linen, towels, paper and soap products. Beds all have mattress pads, pillows and bed covering. This home DOES NOT PERMIT SMOKING.

Perfect week!!

This is the second time we have stayed and this year was even better than the last! The kitchen was well equipped for our seafood nights and Terry was such a gracious host. The location was awesome and we really enjoyed sitting in the deck and enjoying the beautiful views of the ocean! We will be back soon:)

Wonderful Vacation!

The house was exactly as described and steps from the beach! Our family of nine (four generations ranging from 1 to 84 and two dogs) found that the house was spacious enough and well-appointed. Communication with the owner was great, and any questions were answered very quickly. Would stay here again!

Family get away

The house was perfect for our family of 5 and dog to go on vacation. We even had extra space. Very close to all essentials! Bring your own sheets and cleaning products. 100% would rent here again!

So happy to find Terry’s place! The location on the beach was amazing and the place was very clean, nicely decorated, and perfectly sized for our small group. Convenient to everything in OBX. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in this cute house!! It was perfect for us, 6 adults & 1 toddler. The house was clean & very comfortable. The beach was beautiful & not crowded. We would stay here if we visit again!!!

Wonderful Place

Convenient beach front home that takes up to 2 dogs

Our family spent a week in early May at this house. The location is very good, right in the heart of Kitty Hawk so close to restaurants, grocery stores & attractions. You cannot access the beach directly from the house, but the access for the surrounding homes (not public) is adjoining the house so it was easy to get to the beach. The house can sleep 9 (we had 5) but a full house might be a bit tight as there is only1 living area. The description I saw described a basketball hoop but there was no hoop when we were there. A minor thing but I did have a basketball loving son who was bummed since he brought his ball. I might have misunderstood from the description but the 3rd bathroom is accessible only from outside on the lowest level and not from inside the house so we ended up not using it. The kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking, plenty of dinnerware and glasses. All the appliances worked well. You do need to provide your towels and linens but I rented from a local company which dropped them off on check in day with no issues. I had thought there wouldn't be any soaps or paper products per the description so I brought my own but there were starter amounts of TP, paper towels and soap (hand soaps, dishwasher tabs, dishwashing liquid) but no garbage bags. Overall, it's not a fancy beach house but very functional, clean and on a beautiful beach, providing a fun week for the family, including our furry ones!

The house was the perfect setting with the beach front location. We loved the wash accessibility to the ocean and the deck to sit out on and watch the waves. It was a great spot for young kids who need to go in and out of the sun/ocean more frequently.

Another Great Vacation in the Carolina Conch

This was our third year staying in the Carolina Conch and as expected, we had a great vacation! Terry’s accommodations and the location of the home always keep us coming back every year. We appreciate the effort she puts forth to ensure the home is spotless and well-maintained, as well as fully furnished so that your stay is enjoyable and memorable. Amazing

This home is adorable and has plenty of space. This was the first time we stayed right on the beach and that was so nice- especially with small children. Close to everything- we just ran into some colder weather but otherwise this is a find!!!

This property has a great location and amazing views. The house is complete with more amenities than we used, as we spent most of our time enjoying the sites, restaurants and amazing weather. A true hidden treasure in Kitty Hawk.

Loved it!!!!!!

The house and the location was perfect and we had a wonderful time!! It is all that the kids and I have been talking about. I loved the fact that I was able to bring my dog with me, she had a blast chasing the crabs and playing in the water. We are hoping that we can come back next year! Thank you so much Terry!

Nothing short of perfect!

This pink house has it all: the perfect location on a beautiful beach, all the amenities you need and then some. The beach itself is incredibly long and wide— with the extra advantage of being pet friendly, my dog and I took many looong walks and the beach was never crowded! People in Kitty Hawk were kind and friendly, and there is a wonderful yoga studio called The Well nearby with several great teachers if you’re interested! A fantastic vacation!!

Another Wonderful Stay

This was our second year staying at the Carolina Conch (the pink house!) and again, we loved it! My daughter jokes that we keep returning to the home because pink is my favorite color, but the truth is that this is a fabulous home all-around! The beach is beautiful and the home is conveniently located so that you can enjoy the ocean during your entire stay! The home is very clean and well-maintained and includes everything you need for a wonderful vacation! We are hoping to return next year and would like our stay at the Carolina Conch to become an annual tradition! Thank you for the great accommodations!

Wide open beach during the 4th!

We had a great time of a family of 5 staying at this property. The home owner was great at responding back at help with questions we had and when our daughter got sick during the stay. We had a wide open beach during the 4th of July it was amazing!! The easy walk down to the beach from the back deck made it easy to walk back and forth with our kiddos who are 10, 8.5 and 20months if they needed to come back to the house for naps for lunch. Thanks again!!

Relaxing beautiful getaway!

We had a fabulous time at the “pink house”! It was clean, spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked. The location was perfect and was exactly what I was looking for for our family vacation. Of course our dogs loved it and we were so happy we could have them. And we had great weather too! We so enjoyed being right on the beach. One of the highlights was watching dolphins swim by while having coffee on the deck. This was simply one of our best family vacations ever, and we are already looking forward to staying here again! Thank you so much!
