About this property

Eagle Point on Lake Roosevelt. 5 Minutes to Spring Canyon Park and Boat Launch.

NEW LISTING. This spacious 3-bedroom/2-bath home on Lake Roosevelt will meet all your family and friends needs with double living room spaces, open concept to the kitchen, a killer view, hiking trail to the beach, comfy beds (the master and one queen are sleep number beds), luxury linens, a fully equipped kitchen, and relaxing outdoor spaces where you will enjoy time around the propane firepit or a meal around the patio table and chairs. After a day on the boat or at the beach, barbeque some of that freshly caught fish you just came home with on the propane barbeque/grill combo. Enjoy the large screen smart TV's, ready for your streaming accounts (no cable/satellite) in the living room and every bedroom, play board games, put together a puzzle, enjoy some cornhole or horse shoes, all provided for your enjoyment. Two library shelf units are full of books, and you'll be amazed at the wide variety of topics. You will appreciate the large capacity washer and dryer, large French door refrigerator with filtered water/ice, the coffee and beverage offerings, such as keurig or drip coffee makers, and complete kitchen amenities such as wall oven, microwave, dishwasher, 5-burner electric cooktop, plenty of dishes, utensils, glassware, cooking/baking pots and pans and basic spices and staples.

If you're looking for a secluded, quiet retreat where you can take in an amazing view of Lake Roosevelt, yet still be close, within 3 miles, to the business offerings in the Grand Coulee Dam community, you've found it. There is plenty of parking for a couple of cars and your boat. This location is away from the hustle and bustle and you're going to love watching the variety of wildlife that wander through nearly every day. Deer, turkey, hawks, owls, and bald eagles are among the frequent visitors. Oh, and the sunrises and sunset are amazing! Don't tell anyone, but this is also one of the hottest fishing sites on Lake Roosevelt and an early morning or evening walk down the beach trail to throw in a line from the shore, produces amazing results.

The Grand Coulee Dam area offers so many outdoor activities and events throughout the year, we encourage you to check out the Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce website. We know you will fall in love with the place like we have. This vacation rental is new to the local market, summer of 2024, and we know you'll enjoy this unique property. We're betting you'll make it a return destination after your first stay. The home is non-smoking and no pets are allowed.

We welcome you and want you to know we're residents here too, so can easily assist with any of your questions or needs. Your privacy is important to us and will be respected, but we're available if anything comes up. It's a very safe location, but we do have a security camera on the road and entry driveway as a safety measure. Welcome, and enjoy your stay at Eagle Point Guest House!

Absolutely awesome
The house was super clean, stocked with more than everything you would need that you wouldnt need to run to town for. Super kid friendly: bunch of board games, books and tvs in each room. The kids were always busy. The views at the property were breath taking. The fishing was awesome as Diane advertised. Will be back in the near future.

About the host

Host profile image
We are lifelong residents of the area who love this location due to the quiet, calm atmosphere and the abundance of outdoor recreation that comes with living by a lake. We're brand new to offering a vacation rental and it's been fun setting up this place in the manner we think guests will love and in a way that hopefully makes you feel right at home. As recent retirees from the Bureau of Reclamation (Grand Coulee Dam) we now have the time to enter this venture. Aside from being great hosts, our interests include managing the local airport, building and flying our own small airplane, playing music (piano mostly) and enjoying family time, especially with the grandkids. We also love spending time at the lake fishing, waterskiing, paddleboarding, swimming and just soaking up some sunshine.

Why they chose this property

We have owned this small piece of paradise, on the shores of Lake Roosevelt, since 1989. We built a house here, and later my parents moved in a triple-wide modular home (what now is the vacation rental), up the road from us. They are gone now and we decided to share their former home and this lovely spot with visitors by converting their home to a short term vacation rental. There is such a calm, quiet presence here and nothing is better than sitting outside in the evening taking in magnificent sunsets, or watching stars in the night sky.

What makes this property unique

This truly is a unique property. The view of the lake is spectacular, and it's pretty easy to walk a trail to the sandy beach if you want a little exercise. We're only 5 minutes to Spring Canyon Park and Boat Launch, with numerous other lake access points nearby for Lake Roosevelt, Rufus Woods reservoir (Columbia River below Grand Coulee Dam), as well as Banks Lake. It's a fisherman and water sport enthusiast's paradise. Our location is handy to access everything in town like grocery stores, restaurants, coffee stands, gas stations, and many other businesses.
