Everything was great. Only problem was the grass needed to be cut. But we contacted the host and they immediately sent someone out to weed eat the fenced area so we could allow our pets to use the area.

Cute little cabin!

We had a great time on the property. House was perfect size for me my husband and our dog. Comfortable bed and clean house along with covered parking just next door to Flying J. The only slight complaint I would have is the neighbors 5 heeler dogs that made a ruckus every time they saw my dog. But that’s just nature of the dogs I guess. We were just happy we didn’t have to leave our girl behind pet friendly is always a plus! Overall a great place to stay.

Cabin

We were given a password that did not work. We requested a correct one, but never receive it. We had problems with the front door combination. We replaced the batteries and all was good. The neighbors behind had 6-7 dogs that barked everytime we went outside. Thus we were unable to let our 6 lb schnauzer in the fenced area. Suggest you provide a bark zapper to control the barking or talk to the neighbors. Due to no wifi we were unable to receive notices about the Southfork fire. We were updated by our friends who traveled with us and by James and Cindy Hobbs. We evacuated on Monday when we could see the fire in the smoke. We found out when we arrived at Eagle Creek that we had been "GO" section. Other than the lack of wifi, replacing the batteries for the door and the barking dogs, we really loved the cabin. The scenery and wildlife were amazing. It was perfect for myself, boyfriend and our dog.

The property was clean and exactly as described. We arrived to find the heater not working, called the night number and after a few minutes I determined the propane tank was empty. We were there 3 nights and didn’t get any propane. We did however find a couple of small electric heaters to use. On day 2 of our stay the electric door lock wouldn’t work so again I called the emergency night number. Before anyone could arrive we found we had left the back door unlocked so we were able to make entry. One of the employees told me they had been having trouble with that lock and had told the owner that it needed to be replaced but nothing had come of it. After that we just left the door unlocked. The VRBO listing did say the neighbors had dogs that bark if you let your dog out. That is a bit of an understatement, they have at least 5 dogs that bark a lot at night. There was someone staying in the big cabin ( I believe they were employees of the property) and they had dogs there so every time you came or went you had to get out and open the double gate and close it behind you so their dogs could be let out. And lastly, from the time we booked it we had to sign the rules and I must have received no less than 3 emails tell me we could not check in before 4pm. I honestly felt like I was being scolded just by reading the rules ie: we expect this or you will be charged ect. I also received an email and text the day before we were leaving to tell me to message them when we were gone.
