WELCOME TO JASMINE PLACE!

Jasmine Place is a beautiful and enchanting home conveniently located next door to the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum and just across the street from the Key West Lighthouse.

You are marveled with the grandeur and history that is so well maintained when looking at this home from the street. The two-story home, behind a white picket fence has brick steps leading to a large front porch and grand balcony that perfectly overlooks the Lighthouse.

Upon entrance, the Jasmine Place celebrates original carpenter hard wood flooring beneath the open concept features of a family friendly, entertaining home. The spacious living and dining areas lead directly outside through kitchen’s French Doors. The inviting light makes this home a perfect place to relax or entertain.

The first floor serves as living space, kitchen space, and has one full bathroom that access the outside patio. The bathroom is also equipped with a washer dryer unit. The clean, white kitchen has the perfect view of this spacious backyard. This allows the tropical breeze in while watching friends and family outside grilling, swimming or lounging.

Up the original wooden stairs, the second floor of the home has two bedrooms and one full bath. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, and large windows. The second bedroom has two twin size beds that can be made into a king and also has large windows to allow that natural tropical light in. The balcony on the second story has a perfect view of the Key West Lighthouse and overlooks Whitehead Street. The entry to the balcony is through a common area hallway and has chairs for relaxing.

The backyard is landscaped with a tropical, local plants. The deck and private pool allow plenty of space for lounging, grilling, and outdoor dining. Plenty of outdoor seating can accommodate all your friends and family!

The proximity to Duval Street, shopping, restaurants and the many activities Key West has to offer are walking distance. Although there is no need for a car, there is a private, gated, narrow off street driveway for your use only. Small cars only, SUV's will have a hard time parking here).

This is not a shared pool.

Amazing home with the Best Night Light

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was amazing. Private, relaxing and tastefully decorated. Sitting right next to the Hemingway House and direcrtly across from the Lighthouse (our night light for the evenings). The home is older and gives you a feel of being in a different Era in the Keys. Very clean and comfortable. Close proximity to walk to Duval Street and enjoy the night life. The driveway is very Slim but fits a golf care perfectly. If you stay on the weekend you may hear the music from Hemingway House , we enjoyed all the music. Pool was relaxing and had lots of floats to float your cares away. We would definatley stay with this property on future visits

Left in the dark...literally!!

I'm very unhappy with my arrival experience. After 11 hours of traveling, we (my daughter & I) arrived at 11:30pm to find we were unable to gain access to the house. The code I was provided for the lockbox did not work. I called the emergency/after hours, phone number several times (and texted), I received no response. After waiting on the front porch of the rental house for two hours, all the while trying to find an available room at to a hotel to book, we finally left at 1:30am and had to uber to the only available resort north of town. The next morning I was provided with the correct lockbox code and able to enter the rental house, but I was given no compensation for the HUGE inconvenience, only reimbursement for my hotel room and uber fares. Very disappointed with the level of service and understanding I received. Also, the property smells of old cigarette smoke, so if you are sensitive to smells (or huge inconveniences) this is not the property for you.
