The host provided abundant amenities and unexpected treats for humans and dogs! Lovely, clean home. The location was perfect if you like a more private and secluded beach area. It was not overcrowded. The backyard was not as secure for the dogs as mine would need, which meant walking them on leash at all times, however, that was not such a big deal. Overall it was a lovely experience. We would definitely return.
We had a great stay at this home! We were there for our daughter's local lacrosse tournament and it was the perfect location. Quiet, cool (during a 95 degree weekend) and close to the fields. Joseph is a thoughtful, responsive host. He provided complimentary snacks, water, and soda. The water in the house is quite mineral-y, but there was more than enough water provided for drinking. He also left beach towels and fishing gear (neither of which we had time to use but it was a nice touch) and other small amenities that made it feel more like we were staying at a friend's guest house than a rental.
We stayed while the kids were playing a tournament at the very nearby Delaware Turf Complex. The house had everything we needed, including Ms Pac-Man! Our host checked in a few times on check in day and let us know he was nearby if we needed anything. We didn’t have weather that would make hanging out in the back yard possible but I would have loved to sit out back if we could have!
A nice place to stay with everything we needed to cook an early Thanksgiving dinner for our family living from Felton. Grand kids loved the game room and the neighbors are friendly and quiet. The beach is really nice to walk off season and the full moon rising over the bay was beautiful Joseph made sure we had everything we needed and checked to make sure we were happy with the stay.
The house was very nice. The host was exceptional calling us few times to check if we need anything. The main reason I am giving three stars is because the water had a strong sulfur and metal odor. I am on a well water in my house and had the same problem when the water treatment system broke. Once I replaced it the water was fine. Another minor inconvenience was that we couldn't enjoy the garden because there were many mosquitos. I am spraying my yard regularly. It makes things much better. I am not sure if spraying will help there. I saw lots of water in town.
