Quiet location

Thanks for a great stay. We enjoyed the quiet location, the patio, and the easy access to the area. Great restaurants and easy access to ferry for Martha’s Vineyard.

Super Cute and Fully Functional

My family and pooch had a lovely stay; the backyard was large to walk the dog! There were ample cleaning supplies provided and management was very responsive when there was an internet issue. The house was very clean too!

Pretty good stay

We liked the location and house. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable house, neat tree lined drive. Problems: dishwasher hard to use; toilet - leaks when flushed. need drainer for dishes. biggest problem: we did not receive the key code until a couple of hours before we arrived. Skyrun didn't respond to communications the day before we arrived so we really weren't confident that we could get in. Got the code day of check in.

Hi Nancy, Very glad to see you liked our house and felt comfortable there and in the neighborhood. Thanks for the feedback on items during your stay. The next guest reported the leaking toilet and it was repaired within 24 hours. Its best to report those types of issues during your stay as opposed to letting us know in a review so we can address immediately. As to your biggest problem, not getting the door code till day of arrival, and communications. Industry best practice and Skyrun policy is to text a guest the door codes on DAY OF ARRIVAL, after cleaning and inspections are complete, and no later than 4pm. Upon your request, we resent arrival instructions email (which do NOT include door codes) and verified the initial arrival instructions email was sent 4 days prior to your arrival. This included a section that indicates your door code would arrive via text on day of arrival, after cleaning and inspection, but no later than 4pm. We verified that you received a text with the door code at 10:53am on day of arrival. This represents an significant early arrival timeframe, which is normally an added cost to guests. To reiterate our policy, we give out door codes on the day of arrival, after cleaning and inspection, and not later than 4pm.

Stressful

I had difficulty booking, no instructions left at the cottege for example: what was the internet password, how to use the on pin-pad door lock etc.. I had no internet or TV on my first night. I had to leave the door unlocked. The door didn’t line up with the lock when closing from the outside. Smells like mold/damp in the main bedroom. Not enough lighting in main sitting area. I am however grateful for the location close to my sister.

Sorry your stay did not live up to our 5 star standards. We understand vrbo can be a little confusing when booking and especially when changing a booking. So glad we were able to get you in early AND extend your stay. Thanks for the feedback on the door lock. It does take a little jiggling to close it, so we'll have our maintenance team adjust. We confirmed internet password and door code were sent on day of arrival, after cleaning had been inspected. Remember to check your spam folder. Additionally, we did remove a couple of pillows from master closet that had a little mildew smell, thanks for pointing that out.
