About this property

The Cabin on Main St. Utah’s finest artists in residence

Need to relax? Recreate? Come spend some time at The Cabin on Main St. in Spring City, Utah. Settled in 1842 by Mormon pioneers, Spring City is still primarily a rural farming town, though it is increasingly known as an artist community with some of Utah’s finest artists in residence.
e. In 1980, the entire city was listed on the National
Register of Historic Places. Located less than two hours south of Salt Lake City, the
journey to the Cabin is just right as you decompress from everyday life in the city.
In addition to history and culture, Sanpete County offers many opportunities for fun and
adventure. The flat topography lends itself to long walks and bike rides. Enjoy canoeing
or paddle boards on charming Palisades Lake or get in a round of golf on the adjacent
golf course. If you want more excitement, Sanpete County is home to over 600 miles of
off-roading trails for ATV’s in the spring, summer, and fall and for snowmobiling in the
winter. (Opportunities for renting equipment are nearby or bring your own.) You might
want to enjoy the nostalgia of the drive-in movie in nearby Mt. Pleasant, or just veg at
the cabin which boasts access to 6 Pokestops!
The Cabin is indeed on Main Street in the heart of the town. Access the health benefits
of the natural spring located across the street, or walk to either of the wonderful
restaurants in town. Relax on the front porch to watch small-town life roll by, or enjoy
the upper rear balcony to see the sun rise over the Horseshoe Mountains. A fire pit is
available in the rear yard for a relaxing evening gathering spot. (Think s’mores!) You
may be joined by the local herd of deer or wild turkeys as they meander through their
territory.
The Cabin is a cozy size for a personal retreat or bring the whole gang. The main level
has a small private bedroom with bunk beds along with a queen-sized pull-out bed in
the living room. A full-sized bath boasts a charming claw-foot tub to continue the theme
of rest and relaxation whether you prefer a bath or shower. Upstairs the private
bedroom provides a king-sized bed along with a half bath. The loft area provides
another queen-sized pull-out bed for a total sleeping capacity of 8.
The large gathering space on the main level consists of a free-standing gas fireplace for
ambiance along with a seating area, a large dining table that seats 8-10, and a
fully-equipped kitchen. New stainless-steel appliances, pots, pans, cutting boards,
utensils and seasonings are provided. (A well-stocked grocery store is available in Mt.
Pleasant, about 6 minutes away.) The soaring ceiling and copious windows provide.
glorious light throughout. The loft above boasts a large TV for viewing movies, and the
Cabin also supplies puzzles, cards, games, and books for individual or group activities.
In addition to the main areas, a small desk provides a space if you must work. Fast
fiber-based wifi is provided with charging ports available in every room. The utility area
houses a washer and dryer for your convenience.
Guests will have access to the entire cabin, the driveway, yard, and private decks. Once
booked, you can enjoy the property in its entirety.
We invite you to treat yourself to some time at The Cabin on Main St. You deserve it!
