Nice property with grassy fenced yard and quiet location. Our only complaint was that the first night we found cockroaches in the carpet in both bedrooms and on the floor in the kitchen. Some were dead, some were alive. Since my son and his wife had their 8-month old and 3 year old boys with us, who spend most of their time playing on the floor, the idea of having them on the floor for the four days was a problem. We talked with the owner who said they treat the house for bugs periodically to reduce their numbers but felt that bugs were part of staying at a country house. We didn't agree so we left the next day.
We have stayed at this property 3 times now and it doesn’t disappoint. Clean, well stocked, comfy beds and a charming vineyard location close to all Paso has to offer. Lovely fenced yard to enjoy as well. Shelly is a great host.
We absolutely love the vineyard view! Have made at least a dozen trips since it was built, and it is our goto for any stay in Paso Robles. Shelly always takes great care of us….can’t wait to go back already!
Loved this property. Peaceful…cozy…clean…great yard…lots of owls and birds—a nice change of scenery for us as we normally stay at the coast. Plus Paso is a charmer! Will be back!
The property was nestled in among the Vineyards, and just about walking distance to J. Lohr. The owner was easy to work with and communication was great. The house was lovely.
This property is officially on my list of 'happy places'. Serene and beautiful - a perfect place for relaxing, strolling through the vineyard and enjoying a great night's sleep in the comfy beds. We were a party of 4 with 2 pups. The property was perfect for our visit and we cannot wait to come back for a 3rd visit. Thanks for sharing your wonderful property with us!
We love the vineyard view! We’ve made about a dozen trips over the past 15 years, and it’s always a great experience! It’s the perfect size for groups of 6 or less, and Shelly always goes out of her way to make it a comfortable experience. Highly recommend!
After a day of exploring the area it was nice to come back to this comfy house and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was pretty cool being in the middle of a working vineyard. We were there when some late harvesting was being done. Our dog enjoyed the yard so we were all happy!
This was our 2nd stay at this quiet, secluded property located on a working vineyard. We brought our 12 year old Labrador to escape the 4th of July fireworks that scare her in our neighborhood. The property has a large grassy, fenced in yard and is very comfortable. We grilled a couple of meals and visited Cambria on the coast to cool down and went to Tin City and tried some ciders. Shelly was very accommodating even when I called her early on the 4th when the door wouldn't lock. She quickly came to the property and changed the batteries on the electronic door lock while we were gone and it was fixed by the time we got back. We hope to stay again in the future.
We stayed in Vineyard View for 2 nights. The property is quiet and peaceful. It was nice to sit outside and listen to the birds chirping in the morning and look out to see the vineyard surrounding the property. The home was clean and very comfortable. This is a place I’ve stayed at previously and will continue to visit. It is exactly the peaceful escape I was looking for. Thank you, Shelly, for making it a comfortable home away from home.
This small house was situated in a working vineyard. The vines were absolutely beautiful this time of year. Our host was very helpful and checkin and checkout were flawless.
Beautiful property with all the amenities. Quiet, secluded, and close to many great wineries. Enclosed yard was perfect for our dogs. Only complaint was the Wi-Fi signal not very strong out there.
Everything about this property and its owners was just superb:
Friendly owners, Fantastic view & surroundings, the property had everything you needed. This is the best rented home we've stayed in, by far. Recommend highly.
Great location and view. Nice and peaceful. Good layout to the house. It was very comfortable being able to accommodate 3 adults and 3 granddaughters. It happened to be a hot 3 days but was great to sit out in the front yard in the mornings and evenings.
Would book this house again if in the area. Thanks
I picked this site because it allowed dogs. In January my plan was to bring the dogs with me for the May wedding. It turned out I did not need to bring the dogs. For my son and I, the home was clean and quiet after super busy pre-wedding day plans and wedding day. Stepping outside late at night to see the stars over the grapevines was amazing. The yard is clean and well cared for. I would request this place again if I were to come down to Paso Robles or anywhere near there. Thank you for a lovely stay
What a charming, dog friendly place! It has everything you need for a wonderful stay! Lily, our springer, loved the yard! So clean and organized! Shelly, the host was great! Definitely will be a place that we come back to. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!
Enjoyed everything this property had to offer! Bedding was fabulous! Unit was so clean and well stocked. Loved the outdoor yard and view and being able to roam amongst the vines was a dream come true. Truly a special property. Thank you for having us!
A charming little place surrounded by a working vineyard. The kitchen was surprisingly well prepared for anything you’d like to cook! My family and I enjoyed the quiet retreat.
