Stayed here during MSU graduation weekend after selling our local home. The property itself was spacious, had good parking, and the location worked for our needs. That said, there were maintenance and communication issues that made the stay more stressful than expected. The front bathroom outlets were dead, which meant guests couldn’t use a hair dryer, and there was no iron or ironing board. With seven people getting ready for a graduation, that created major unnecessary inconvenience. The biggest issue was the poor communication from the host. We never received a check-in message with the door code, so we had to call upon arrival to get access. At every VRBO we’ve stayed in prior, this is a basic detail that’s usually handled in advance. There was also no Wi-Fi information provided in the house or via the VRBO app/email, and when we messaged to ask for the password and about the TV remotes, we didn’t receive a response until late that night after everyone was already asleep. Some friendliness or any apology for the delayed responses would have been appreciated - we understand that things happen. To top it off, the cleaning crew contacted us at 9:00 a.m. asking if we planned to check out early so they could start cleaning before the stated 11:00 a.m. checkout time. Overall, the property itself was decent, but the lack of organization and unprofessional communication made the stay frustrating for us, and the cost was not worth the experience.
