Beautiful property, perfect location in walking distance to lots of cute little local places in Haymount. Very dog friendly. Host was very helpful and neighborhood was very welcoming.
This is our 2nd time staying here, the first time we stayed in the Haymount Hideaway we came both times to visit with our son, daughter in law, and 2 grandsons. It’s not easy finding places that will allow our dogs because they are so big. This place is a wonderful place to stay at, not just for you but also for your pets. I would recommend this place to everyone, especially everyone who has large pets and has a hard time finding good pet friendly places. The Haymount Holdout is just as great as the Haymount Hideaway. If you get a chance to stay at either place, I hope you enjoy it just as much as we did.
The place is nice inside and overall looks clean. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. My issue was with vents covered with excessive amount of dust so when AC was on you could smell the dust in the air. Also the gym part of the property is separate from the unit and only accessible from another entrance, but it was pouring rain most of the evening I was there, so I never had a chance to use it. So quite disappointing.
I was looking for a place to hide away from my regular schedule to do a mini sabbatical in order to work on scheduling and planning. This was a great place for those needs. The house was cozy and clean. The neighborhood was pretty and quiet. Shopping and eating opportunities were close at hand. The house is set just outside Fayetteville in a beautiful area. Because if was mid October, I was also able to see some foliage colors as well. I am grateful for the opportunity to use this property and I highly recommend it to anyone.

No AC and no refund
House seemed really nice on the outside but once I walked in I noticed it was HOT. All the curtains were drawn shut and there must have been 5 or 6 fans all on blast. Didn't think nothing of it until that night and I was sweating a lot. It was 82 in the house. I realized the AC was broken. They allowed me to book a house in the summer in North Carolina with no AC. They knew it was broken because they had someone come look at it (still was broken). Never offered me a discount or anything. I had to contact VRBO to try and get a refund. They messaged me saying they would refund me only 100 which is better than nothing. It's been two weeks and still no refund. STAY AWAY.
