KEY CODE NIGHTMARE!
It was a nice place ... clean and comfortable. But while stopping by to check in on the way to my 2 granddaughters' birthday party on Friday (the reason for my trip), I could not get ahold of anyone to tell me the apartment number. I did not see that in the emails until VRBO sent me a copy. There were many emails between Bluedog and myself prior to the trip. So I used a code that was on one of those emails and opened the door to the unit on the end, about 5 doors down ... and the door opened. To my surprise, a man was staring at me inside. He said he had this unit for the weekend. I could have been shot opening this door!!! I tried to get ahold of Bluedog and VRBO repeatedly to no avail, until I went online and searched for the VRBO customer service phone number. By the time I got a response, 2-1/2 hours later, my 2 granddaughters' birthday party was OVER. So, the customer service person gave me the key code and we left our luggage. The next day when we tried to get into the unit, the key code didn't work and I again called the VRBO customer service line. After some back-and-forth and about an hour later after standing outside in the rain, we were told someone changed the key code on us. In conclusion, too much of our time was spent trying to use the unit WE PAID FOR and not with my grandkids. At the end of the phone call with the bulldog rep, she had attitude with me because I was so upset. We left the unit between 5 and 6 a.m. this morning.
