The house was adequate for a family gathering. But there was not enough information about how to run the thermostat. It was very cold when we arrived and we didn’t figure the thermostat out until the last day. Owner should include instructions in the welcome information.
I reserved this location for out of state elderly family members and they are still expressing their pleasures of location, cleanliness and kindness of this host. Thanks to all involved for making my family comfortable and feeling safe!
The place was perfect for our stay and small birthday party. The yard was amazing.
The three bedrooms are close together and share one bathroom. The other bathroom is an addition off of the kitchen but it is really nice.
There could have been more amenities like salt+pepper, wine glasses, etc.. I ended up buying wine glasses and leaving them. Over time, I imagine people will leave more behind for the rest of us.
Would definately rent again.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
There's good, not so good and bad
It is very clear that this home is not professionally managed. The information shared was clunky at best, and the check-in instructions was basically a list of DO NOTs. The Good: Home was very clean, beds were comfortable, water pressure was fine and the location met our needs. The Not So Good: The home is much more dated than the pictures let on. No curtains over the transom window in the King bedroom which faced the front of the house, and it was low enough for people to see in. One of the DO NOT items listed in the check-in instructions was no loose trash in the trash cans - yet they did not supply trash bags (they later dropped some off). It was also detailed in our check-in instructions that we had to strip the beds of linens, empty all fridge food into trash and take the trash out of the house to the large trash cans outside. Check-in was also very clunky, not clear, and not customized to our arrival. The Bad: This is a shared property. There is a studio in the backyard that was rented, to people who smoked on the front porch, while we were there. This was not disclosed to us prior to booking, and there was only one small line in the check-in instructions about how the 'treehouse' also uses the backyard. If you're looking for a Zen getaway, walking through the beautiful backyard while being watched by strangers who were smoking is not the vibe I want. And yes, you will need to provide a driver's license for every occupant to check in.
Pros -
main areas mostly clean
Nice neighborhood/location
Nice washer/dryer/stove/refrigerator
Cons -
place is listed as “entire home” & the host rents out a small “treehouse” in backyard. Without disclosing in listing, Listing says private backyard
Smart Thermostat doesn’t work correctly or host refused to take off remote settings. Most of our stay we were cold
There are property managers & you’re asked to take their trash cans to the curb if you’re staying on a Sunday. Not a big deal, but there’s managers for those services. You shouldn’t have to take out the cans for their nightly rate
Host is very dishonest
House is old and smells of mold/mildew/musty throughout
Most switch plates were falling off or had screws missing (we fixed some because it was so bad)
Laundry room toilet is not installed correctly and you can’t sit on it without feeling like you’re falling off
Laundry shower runs all over the laundry room floor
Holes around several door handles, some doors with NO handle at all
The “decor” just looks like they put all there old tables and such out of an attack or storage and just popped them randomly throughout the rooms, very cluttered
Corners around washer/dryer and such are so filthy and unfinished, very disgusting for your clean laundry to fall on
Coffee maker is very hard to use/work. It works IF you get things lined up properly.
Do to all these things, & likely some things I missed, I strongly recommend you DO NOT rent this place!
