Coco is a bustling town with every amenity and night life, plenty of cultural events and activities and a great mix of local and western cuisine. Lots of tour operators, golf cart and hire car facilities. Conveniently only 30 mins from the airport.
The beach is perfect for walking and taking in the sunset. Beachside restaurants and bars, some are tranquil and others with live bands, karaoke and happy hours. Very close by there are beautiful beaches for swimming and snorkelling- Penca, Ocotal and Hermosa.
Most people speak English and welcome tourists, there are lots of adventures to experience, including fishing, sunset cruises, ATV tours, hiking volcanoes, tubing in rivers and waterfalls, animal encounters and natural beauty all within an hours drive of Coco. This is the perfect base to explore Costa Rica.
