We had a mixed experience at this property. On our first night and into the next day, we did not have internet access. I contacted the host, and he was very responsive and willing to help. After quite a bit of troubleshooting back and forth, we were eventually able to get it working, which I appreciated.Unfortunately, there were several other issues. The house was only somewhat clean upon arrival, and we had to do some additional cleaning before feeling comfortable with our family staying there. There was also a strong mildewy smell throughout the home, and overall it felt like the property had not been maintained very well. The kitchen was not adequately stocked for a vacation rental. The coffee maker was missing its lid, there were no coffee mugs, and there were very few dishes available. We ended up making a Walmart trip to purchase items we expected would already be provided. The downstairs toilet was leaking water onto the floor during our stay. I notified the host, and he said he would have it repaired.Parking was also challenging. We traveled with two vehicles, and there was another vehicle parked in front of the house throughout our stay, which made parking difficult.Overall, the house met our basic need for a place to sleep, but it lacked the comfort, cleanliness, and amenities we've come to expect from a vacation rental. While the host was responsive, I would not recommend this property to travelers looking for a well-maintained, vacation-like experience.
