A Relaxing Retreat!

Loved our stay! The cabin offered the perfect peaceful escape with a beautiful view. It was incredibly close to a quiet, uncrowded lake Shasta, which made it a relaxing daily retreat. The entire atmosphere was calm, serene, and the property was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful Getaway!

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay for Labor Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time! The house is perfect, nicely remodeled with all the amenities you need. Looking forward to staying there again!

We had a blast staying there!

It was a beautiful place to stay for our vacation. It had everything we needed and it felt like home. The yard was a perfect size to fit our boat and truck in and having a fenced yard with a gate made it even better for our dogs we had with us. It was peaceful and relaxing and we will come back and stay there again. Lori and David are the best people to work with which made our stay enjoyable. Thank you Lori and David.

We had a great time and the cabin had everything we needed besides the food that we brought. It was only 10-15 mins to the lake.

Our family was comfortable, and the place was very homie. The outside wasn’t as great as we had hoped. There were too many mosquitoes and very little privacy from the neighbors.

Beautiful home in a lower end neighborhood. Sort of sticks out amongst the locals. Walking our dogs down to the railroad tracks. We noticed quite a few homeless people. They were friendly, but it’s always heartbreaking to see people living out of their cars.

We will be back!

We loved our stay here! The house was perfect for our family and dog. Very clean and everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood and quick drive to Antlers where we kept our boat. We will definitely be returning next summer, can't wait!

Perfect Little Spot

We spent 5 nights at retreat 16. It was perfect for me, my husband and our two kids. For our trip we wanted to spend a lot of time up at the lake so it was the perfect location. This was such a better choice than staying at a hotel somewhere. I hope we get the chance to stay here again.

Relaxing and comfortable

The cabin is one of a few found on a street in the woods near the north end of Lake Shasta. There is a small path that leads to an old boat launch that one can use to access the water for swimming and fishing. Although it is advised not to try and bring boats or kayaks that far on foot, it is still very secluded and relatively easy access. The cabin itself is well maintained, clean and comfortable, with an assortment of amenities available including BBQ, fully functional kitchen, TVs in every room, and comfortable furniture. Although not exactly on the lake itself, it is a nice haven for those who like peace and quiet and to be one with nature. I would recommend this cabin experience to anyone and will definitely come back.

Shoe fire

We were in the area working the fire and were lucky to choose this property. It’s away from any other places so it’s very private. They offer all sorts of items to use with the property, like paddle boards and fishing poles. Our families came up for the weekend and the kids loved it. The hosts were so helpful with the few questions I had. It’s a gauranty we will rent from them again. They have several properties the area but this one fit us perfectly. Thankyou for making it so smooth for us. Johnny

Our trip to Shasta and the house was great. The area is quiet and there is a nice deck and plenty of space in the yard. The kitchen was nice along with the wood slats on the ceiling. Nice charm and we had everything we needed. We would rent it again. We walked to Klondike restaurant and had pizza and beer. There was a comedy show there as well. Everything is within driving distance including Mt Shasta. Overall we had a great time.
