We stayed overnight for a quick trip to see Hamlet in Forest Park (it was awesome) and appreciate having lodgings so close to the venue for a very reasonable price. Good communication and very clean!
We had 2 families with 6 kids. The set up was perfect and the kids enjoyed the back lawn. It was a good location and easy to get to all of our activities.

Great communication from host, great stay for the price
This condo is all about location. Great for going out and waking to bars and restaurants. The unit definitely shows some wear and tear and the sliding pocket door on the upstairs bathroom will not close, takes a lot of strength and manipulating to get it even partially closed, and wakes the whole house if you try to close it. The backyard is great, but know it is shared with the condo next door, but there are 2 separate seating areas. All in all we would return again due to location, ease of check-in, and parking.
We loved this property. Great location to the places we wanted to go (Enterprise Center, The Hill, Forrest Park). Very clean, great communication. I would highly recommend staying at this property. Thanks for a great experience!!
We just needed a place to sleep and work as a team during a conference. I appreciated the multiple rooms and bathrooms. Nothing fancy but it more than worked for what we needed.
Great central location just a few minutes from Forest Park and easy drive to downtown STL or other areas of interest. The house is old (possibly over 100 years old) but nicely renovated on the inside and clean. The furnishings are very basic but adequate and there was plenty of space for our family of five. Communication with host was good with quick response time. The directions we received for the TV were a bit confusing and we couldn't get the ice maker in the fridge to work despite having the bar/switch in the proper position. These things were minor for us since we were really only there to sleep and out most of the day. There was some noise coming from the nightclub down the street but nothing outrageous. Overall, it was a good fit for our family trip and the price was right.
The house, while in a great neighborhood, was not up to standards. One of the bathroom doors would not close. Thus, this bathroom was unusable. The owner did not respond in a timely manner to get someone in to fix the door. And once maintenance arrived, the technician told us that he'd have to replace the entire thing. Though, he did make it so that we could at least close the damn thing with some effort. A few of the cabinet doors were also off their hinges. The owner is unresponsive and simply doesn't care about this property. Do not rent this property.
We enjoyed our stay, Dan was great to answer any questions I had! Lots of room and it’s a beautiful townhouse ! Parking was FREE and plenty of spots available
The house was nice and clean and communication was fine. I didn't receive the check-in information until after our check-in time, but after a quick message the host got back to me with it! We only wish the downstairs hadn't stayed so cold even after cranking the heat up or that there had been some extra blankets downstairs. Overall it was a great stay!
The property is spacious, with plenty of room and a full kitchen. It's also in a safe neighborhood. However, we had trouble sleeping with very loud music coming from some of the local bars until past 2 am. I would recommend bringing ear plugs.
Overall it was a great trip! Owner was pretty responsive. Parking was a challenge as the lot we were told would be available to park in wasn't available and street was full due to festival on the corner.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
When my group of 7 arrived for check-in the cleaning crew was still inside cleaning. We were a few minutes early so we did not mind them finishing up. However, they were not done until 10-15 minutes past the check in time & it was 94 outside as we sat waiting, which was a little frustrating. The overall stay was okay, however the back doorknob was not secure & someone could have easily broken-in which made us feel a little uneasy. Also, 2 different guests got stuck in the upstairs bathroom because the sliding door jams. Overall, I would have rated my stay fairly high, as we did have a pleasant experience up until check out. Shortly before our group was departing, a coffee cup was accidentally spilled on one of the beds. We did not have time to throw the bedding in the wash since it happened just as we were leaving. But we thought, no worries, the bedding needs washed in between each guest anyway & we are charged cleaning fees for this very reason. The host proceeded to message me that the cleaning crew found the bedding soiled in “bodily fluids”. It was VERY clearly coffee. I was told that I would need to pay 200 to replace the bedding, as they threw out the bedding. Absolutely ridiculous. 1. There is absolutely no reason that bedding needed to be thrown out & couldn’t have been washed clean. 2. I slept on that bedding & it was very clearly not 200 quality bedding. The host had no interest in talking to me about a different resolution & just took the out of my account
The location is the best part, pretty centrally located and easy to access the highways. For most of the things we were doing, it was 10-15 minutes away by car. The host was quick to respond to messages. Check-in and check-out processes were detailed. Overall, the listing is accurate to what is included. The couches in the main front room aren’t the same as in the pictures, but a small detail of difference. There was shampoo and conditioner available in the two bathrooms. Plenty of dishes and silverware; the only thing my friends couldn’t find in the place was scissors. The beds were comfortable with linens provided. Towels were also provided. The two allocated parking spots that were behind the apartment were not available when my friends and I arrived as other vehicles took up those spaces. But there was plenty of street parking that we could park close enough to the apartment. I would like to give a higher rating, but the apartment wasn’t as clean as I would expect it to be when cleaning fees are included in the price. The apartment could use some TLC as the bathroom doors were hard to close as they did not roll on their tracks evenly (especially the upstairs bathroom), there were a couple of large bugs, and we had some leaking pipes during our stay. I imagine it’s hard to upkeep a bnb, but it could use a fresh coat of paint and a deep clean of the floors and walls. The appliances were functioning properly and seem well maintained.
