While The Hartridge House is indeed located in a beautiful and historic part of Savannah, we understand how unsettling it can be to encounter pests and maintenance concerns during a vacation. Due to our warm coastal climate, occasional sightings of palmetto bugs can occur even in well-maintained homes. However, this should not have impacted your comfort, and we regret that it did. Our team responded quickly with the offer to have the home treated by our pest control provider, and we are truly sorry for the confusion regarding the service visit and communication afterward. We will be reviewing our follow-up procedures to ensure that future guests receive clear confirmation when work is completed. We also appreciate your notes regarding the fixtures in the home.
