The stay was nice, communication with the host was great. Could have been cleaner, there was candy in the floor under the living room table when we arrived and stains on some of the pillows, but overall was not filthy.

We had a wonderful time and loved everything about this rental! If you get cold, bring a couple extra blankets. Other than that you couldn't ask for a better home, indoor pool, hot tub, the works! Excellent trip, we will be returning!

Loved everything about the property except the water, it is white and slimy so i think it contains a mineral but i cant remember which one. Other than that, everything was lovely! Beautifully updated, clean, and close to the parkway.

Overall this was great stay. The only problem we had was there weren’t enough blankets, but we contacted the owner and they were able to bring one over. We did wish some of the blankets were a little bit thicker so you might want to bring a few extra from home.

Beyond Disappointed
My family and I had been doing disaster relief for a week, so I wanted to give them a time of relaxation. The Royal Pool Retreat was available, so I booked it. The main reason I did was so they could just relax at the cabin, and enjoy a time of renewal. They love to swim, so the house having a swimming pool was the reason I booked it. To say the pool was cold is an understatement. It was so cold they could not swim. So, we will make the best of it and play ping pong. No, there were no ping pong balls. Other things in the house did not work, and the reasoning I received in a letter left from maintenance was "It is a new build, and I cannot repair it." So, I literally cried when I told my family I apologized for wasting their time. When I contacted the booking agent, they said they would contact management to see what could be done. Yet, nothing was done. I even contacted them before making this review with no response other than they would contact someone. I still get an emptiness in my gut and tears in my eyes thinking about time and money wasted. High price to learn a lesson.

Will Never Use VRBO Again - Do Not Rent From Aunt Bugs
Terrible experience. No linens or pillows for pull out couches. We had to purchase them so our children could go to sleep seeing we traveled 15 hours to get there at bed time. Went to get in the master bed to find dirty linen, threw it in washer and found large urine (or whatever it was) stains on the mattress.. had to purchase mattress cover. Support for the management c on pant was no help. Husband used the toilet in the master bath which then started dripping dirty toilet water into the bedroom below. House was dirty.. floors had crumbs all over, house dusty, night stands had toe nail clippings and sticky marks from cups. No broom. No oven mitts. Asked for a pack n play and they gave me a number to call and rent one. Aunt Bugs was no help.. sent someone to clean after I had already done it. Gentleman didn’t speak English and didn’t know what he was there for. Maintenance came and left a ticket stating he checked the toilet but we tried again and it leaked yet again. No compensation from Aunt Bugs so I called VRBO who also refused compensation after requesting that I send all photos and videos including screenshots of my conversation with Aunt Bugs “support”. After sharing my experience, I was told three poor experiences with VRBO within two days. NEVER AGAIN.
