Location
The quiet, pleasant and rustic village of Beurizot is situated less than 10 minutes drive north of the market town of Pouilly en Auxois and Vitteaux. The regions capital, Dijon, is easily reached by autoroute in less than 35 minutes and here you can shop, experiment with local food at the food market - Les Halles - and admire the culture and architecture of some of France's finest Château's and historical buildings. The Burgundy Canal passes through the village and you can walk or cycle along the tow path to the bakers in the next village.
Local attractions include; Dijon with its Museums, character town houses, garden and parks. Try Dijon market; 'les halles' for culinery delights. Nearby are the Canal side town of Pouilly en Auxois with good general commerce and restaurants and the medieval town of Semur en Auxois with historical buildings and good general commerce. The world famous vineyards of Chablis, Beaune and Nuits st George are easily accessible.
