The room was lovely -spacious, clean, nice decor, comfortable beds. The host was responsive and helpful. The location is quiet, nestled in a beautiful mountain setting in the Sierras. The lady who works at the General Store was very helpful in letting is use her phone when we learned Verizon does not have service up there. The lodge, which is a separate building from the rooms and is closed, is a marvelous piece of mountain architecture that offers beautiful grounds and a Frederick Remington statue on the front lawn with views up to the surrounding mountains. We would definitely stay again.
