Welcome to Molokai, the most 'Hawaiian' island in the Hawaii.
Kepuhi Beach Resort is located on the west end of Molokai, next to the longest stretch of sandy beach in Hawaii, Papohaku Beach (three miles of white sandy beach). On any given day, it is not unusual for you to be the only ones on the beach! Please note that Molokai is in Maui county ... but is not on the island of Maui.
This is a smoke-free unit overlooking the former Kaluakoi golf course and white sandy beach. Sun bathing, swimming and surfing is within footsteps of your door. Enjoy the oceanfront pool all day before relaxing at the gas BBQ grill in the evening. Picnic tables are provided for your dining on the great lawns.
Relax in the peaceful atmosphere, sunny days, and star filled nights. This is an island that has not been commercialized with shopping malls, traffic lights, tourism, or people.

Enjoyed our stay in this condo, had everything we need, the host is very quick to get back to you if you need anything, would definitely stay here again
This is a very beautiful property. I am very happy I choose this over anything else on the island. Meet alot of nice Americans and had a very relaxing time.
We enjoyed our relaxing week on Molokai and loved the slower pace. Loved spending several days at the nearby beach and only had to share it with a couple of people - essentially had it pretty much to ourselves. A beautiful way to end a 6 week trip in Hawaii - saved the really relaxing week to the end.
Berit is the most wonderful host that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with for my 11 day stay.
This condo, its stunning property, and it breathtaking view are definitely a vacationers absolutel dream!
Thank you for sharing your paradise Brit!
The area was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. This was our second trip to Hawaii, and, quite honestly, we liked the first trip but didn't enjoy the hustle and bustle or the tourist crowds. of the first. We had none of that this trip. !00% Relaxing and Fun. The thing we like most about Molokai is how friendly the people are, and the ones we got to know were awesome. We were invited to be a part of their family Christmas on Christmas day, a big family meal, and watch them open presents. Was truly an awesome time. We have already booked a trip next year. These two ladies were calling us Ohana before we left, and we were saying the same to them. Ohana means "Family."
This is a quit island great place to visit if you don't like all the huddle and bussel of all the tourist traps , if you like to explore this is the place to do it but do t expect to look up all the places to go on the internet
Good place to visit

Lovely peaceful place.
The accommodation was all that I needed. The host was easy to reach and was more than obliging.
For a peaceful place to stay it is one of the best places I have visited so far.
I would hope that in the future I can return here.
A perfect resort, ocean and beach view from the property, quite, ample parking, centralized trash disposal, plenty of towels, wash cloths, beach towels and all you need and want to cook, make coffee and whatever else you do in your kitchen. Nice walkways, beautiful views throughout the property and more than one beach access. The home owner gave plenty of great suggestions and directions right to property.
I was very impressed with how rapidly Berit responded to any questions I had. No AC but there are plenty of fans and a big door to the 2nd floor deck. Just dress down. The lure here is the “lack” of glitz. You won’t waste your time shopping at cute stores. But, you might walk south to a huge, almost -deserted white sand beach or north to the beautiful Make Horse beach,a great place for snorkeling or reading a book. Molokai is a unique place.
Unit is to the far left of the property as you face the ocean. Long walk from car with gear. Kitchen Pans need updating. Couch should be a pull out as even when Im with my partner we will often sleep in a separate bed. The couch is too small to sleep on. No salt and pepper on property which we forgot to bring. Overall great place except for only 1 bed.
For our first stay on Molokai, we chose this suite. On first approach, without being aware of the history with a development company-it is a little daunting as there are derelict buildings as you enter the property. I suggest you to look up the “Molokai Ranch” for a bit of history on the property.
After getting over this, the property is clean and well kept. The suite is dated, but comfortable never the less. If your going to keep the lanai doors open for air flow at night, get bug spray!!
The lanai did offer a wonderful view of the sunsets on the west side of Molokai and the beach is a short ten minute walk to a spectacular beach.
The condo had a nice design with a vaulted ceiling and a loft area. It was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and there was a partial ocean view. The condo "estate" was quiet and people were super friendly. Everything worked, although we couldn't figure out the television. There were no screens onto the lanai, so when we opened the double doors the mosquitoes came in. The combined living/kitchen area was a little dim as the only light was from the double lanai doors. But since we were out and about during the day that was not a problem.

Here’s the bottom line: I would come back to this place and I would definitely recommend it!
Great location! Residents at the property observe quiet time from 10 PM to 8 AM. Very beautiful sunsets! It was fun watching the big waves. And you will likely see some Hawaiian monk seals sleeping on the beach.
The host is very responsive to any issues that may arise.
Bathroom is a bit dated but for the price I paid, I can’t complain. It works just fine.
Having beach chairs would’ve enhanced our experience watching the sunsets. But we were fine sitting on the sand.
Lastly, maybe replacing some of the pots that are scratched might be a good idea?
The condo is located on the far northwestern coast of Molokai, about 30 minutes from town, where there is a small grocery store. It's a remote location on a remote island that is relatively untouched by tourism. The condos are located on land where there was once a resort and a golf course, which closed many years ago. Some of the old building on the property are still there, but boarded up. We liked that part of it and learning about the history of this place. The coast is rocky, with big beautiful waves and lovely sunsets. If you are looking for a fancy resort, restaurants, or entertainment then go to Maui, but if you are looking for a quaint and remote place to unwind, relax, and appreciate Hawaii in its more traditional form, with little to no tourism, then this is a great place. We had a fantastic time and the pictures posted of the place are bang on and show you exactly what to expect. We can't wait to come back, it was so hard to leave.

Aloha,
Directions very poor, words spelled incorrectly.
Condo needs a lot of updating. Many nearby are closed.
Owner needs to check up on the cleaners. Not up to par.
We paid a cleaning fee, for what ??? We left it much cleaner then when we arrived.
We suggest a grab bar in the shower and a plug-in emergency
light.
Screen door not working, magnet broken.
This unit will not be recommend.
Mahalo….

Response from VrboOwner on 18 August 2023
Whenever a guest has any kind of a problem or complaint about my unit, I encourage them to call me directly. I take all issues / complaints seriously.
In this case, I never had any feedback from the guest and I was unaware they were not happy. As for the comment about "directions very poor and words spelled incorrectly". I provide driving instructions in my welcome letter to all guests. These instructions are detailed to even include how many miles in between each turn made. I have reviewed them and can not find any spelling errors.
The photos I have posted on my VRBO site are exactly what you will find when you get to the unit. The photos were taken by myself - not a professional stager. If looking at the photos and you think the unit "needs a lot of updating", you would know that right away and could perhaps choose another unit.
The "closed nearby condos" the guest is referring to belong to Molokai Ranch. The balance of the units are privately owned. Molokai Ranch has been shut down for many years and those units look run down as they remained vacant.. However, the units that are privately owned (like my unit) are well maintained by the Association.
I appreciate the suggestions of a grab bar and plug-in emergency lights. It is very helpful to me to receive feedback from guests so that I can continually improve my unit.
About the host
Hosted by Berit Larsen
We live and work on Oahu and like to get-a-way often from the hustle and bustle of city living. For almost 30 years, we have been enjoying this tranquil island.
Why they chose this property
Molokai is the only Hawaiian Island where time has stood still. You can enjoy sunsets, great surfing, hiking, and peace and quiet year round.
What makes this property unique
You are within minutes of laying on a sandy beach or paddling out to surf. This is definately the place to be to relax and unwind!
