We visited this property for a weekend of wrestling at Galia Academy High School and it was a prefect place for our family. Place was nice, clean, and in a good location.
Arrived to a house that had not been properly cleaned. Hot tub had visible green growth and the smell was revolting. Hot tub splashes drain directly to the basement where you will find standing water in a far corner next to the mini fridge. Moisture from water is currently rotting the wood underneath and black/white molds cover the beams in the basement corner. Owner is aware of issues and will do his best to inconvenience you if you find these conditions uninhabitable. The owner Dan will become outright hostile if you have complaints. Still haven’t received the entire amount that is due to be refunded as Dan updated the property quote after the stay to overcharge us.

I am sorry but none of this is true This lady was trying to get a credit and not pay check out reviews on airbnb rarely rent vrbo lady was a pain from the second she got there claimed all kinds of ridiculous non sense yet stayed there in house all evening before leaving even eating there take it for what it’s worth this place is a guest favorite and almost always gets 5 star review
Dan was very helpful with questions I had and suggestions for local restaurants. House is adorable. Plenty of room for our party of empty-nesters. The neighborhood was very quiet. Wonderful to be able to sit on back deck and watch the boats on Ohio River. Would definitely return again.
The Host, Dan, was very responsive and even allowed us to check in early. The property is right on the river, but the bank is not really suitable to get right up to the water. It has a fire ring, although we didn't get to use it due to the rain showers on Saturday night. The place was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen for basic food prep. The road it is on is a little rough, but passable. The neighbors have cats and the grey and white one was especially friendly. The hot tub was crystal clear and warm.
