Awesome cabin
This cabin was the perfect place to relax and have fun with the family. The inside was clean and had plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor space was beautiful and had ample room for the kids to run and play. The host was very easy to reach about any question we had and made sure we enjoyed our time while we were there. Thanks again for an awesome weekend!

Nice,quiet spot
The house was well kept and clean. We had everything we needed for cooking, cleaning and relaxing. The fishing was a little disappointing this weekend but a nice quiet lake.

Beautiful cabin!!!
Beautiful cabin, clean, big and peaceful! We were 2 families with teenage kids and had a wonderful time at this cabin. Cabin is very spacious and equipped with everything you may need or want for your stay. Pantoon was a huge plus. Kayaks were fun for kids and adults! Lake is clean and deep and very enjoyable! David the owner is responsive and helpful. We would love to visit again!

Good experience
This is very much as shown in the pictures. It is very secluded, which is nice. I had a few questions before and during my stay and David was very responsive and helpful. The lake is small but the pontoon is nice and clean. It ran well, no problems with starting or anything. We didn't use the raft but it looked fine. The steps down to the lake are longer than I thought, but the slope (or grade) is very gentle so that’s very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with just about any pot or pan you could need. Knives were the only downside of the kitchen. There are a lot of knives, so there may be a good one, but we didn’t find any. He has a very thorough listing of what to bring, which he emails to you before your stay. It was really helpful. In general, everything was in good shape, clean and not worn out. An exception is the mattress in the downstairs bedroom. Our son said it was the worst mattress he ever slept in, and he’s slept in some 3rd world countries. The bed down there and couch were fine and that’s where they slept the other nights and left the big bed to a 4 year old. The only other negative was the grill. It wouldn’t start and it turned out the drip pan was full and needed to be emptied. It wasn’t clear how to empty this and my husband tipped the pan which spilled greasy, watery junk on my husband’s shirt and a lot on the patio floor. The floor was easy to wipe up, I don’t have the stain off my husband’s shirt yet after 2 cleanings.

I very much enjoy my lakehome but as a business owner I am busy and use it very little. Instead of leaving it vacant most of the time I wanted to make it available to you to have an alternative to the mundane 'same old thing' resort style vacation. Stay at my home year round as I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Thank You,
Dave

Why they chose this property

My father purchased the land in 1956. He was enamored by the property's beauty, the tremendous fishing, and the privacy. In 1996 I tore down the old cabin and built the three level Ski Chalet-Style Lake Home with an open loft to facilitate the 'togetherness' that a 'cabin' is supposed to convey. Since I am so busy with work and I use the place only a couple weeks per year, I decided to share it with you!

What makes this property unique

I enjoy all aspects of the place including peace and quiet, all the wildlife in the woods surrounding the house, great fishing, swimming, the large deck overlooking the lake, all of it. It's also the rarity to have such a large private lot on such a nice lake with no neighbors. It makes me glad I purchased those additional lots adjacent to the property. To me, there is no replacement for seclusion and privacy and this place really delivers.
