In this farmhouse, you will have the best of both worlds--privacy and close to city life. It is in a rural setting to enjoy all nature has to offer yet it's only 25 minutes to National Harbor, 30 minutes to Washington DC, and 30 minutes to Northern Virginia. This farmhouse will be your own private retreat (except the garage, inventory closets and the separate red building (detached apartment occupied by host & husband -see note below ) and the shed.
There are three bedrooms upstairs: the master bedroom has a queen bed,bathroom with bathtub, dresser, chest, and a closet; the second bedroom has 2 queen beds, a chest and closet; the third bedroom has a bunk bed, a day bed with pull out trundle, a chest and a closet. There’s a full bathroom in the hallway with a bathtub. The main level living room has a pull out couch with a twin bed and in the foyer closet there are 1 twin size air mattresses. The family room has a 55” TV and sofa bed with pull out queen size mattress.
The full kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, and BBQ grill utensils, salt and pepper, and wine glasses.
Relax in the living room with a gorgeous view to the huge open field and maple tree. Or enjoy a movie in the family room. You choose!
Enjoy a meal in the dining room, kitchen table, the deck, front porch or patio.
Enjoy time around the fire pit or make your own picture-perfect setup under the string lights, or front yard or under the trees.
Don't forget you can bring your dog to play in the fully fenced backyard.

At Frank's farmhouse you have it all, but if you decide to go out, there's plenty to do in La Plata, or nearby Washington DC and Northern VA.
Please note that there is a separate building on the land, (small red building to the left of the house) which is a small apartment occupied by host and her husband; however, that should not interfere with anything; their two vehicles will be onsite as they go in and out. They will care for plants, flowers and vegetables to ensure they are watered and kept beautiful for guests to enjoy. Always reach out to the host on the VRBO platform with any questions.
