This was our second time staying at The Rickhouse and it was just as exceptional as our first stay! This time we did bourbon tours in the Frankfort area as well as Churchill Downs. The property is convenient to everything. The accommodations are top notch. Hands down our favorite neighborhood in the Louisville area - fun, safe, and beautiful.

Perfect in every way!

Our family gave this place a 10/10 in every category. We also loved the Norton Commons location - beautiful neighborhood, great boutique shopping and fun restaurants. Easy drive to Churchill Downs too.

Wonderful place with everything you need! Awesome neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and great little shops! The host was super easy to work with and very accommodating! This property was super clean and comfortable beds!

Perfect Perfection

This apartment is absolutely beautiful. The quality of the furnishings and the kitchen are exquisite. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of some wonderful restaurants!

Perfect getaway

We loved everything about the property. It was very clean and new. The location and the surrounding area was stunning. We loved the area so much we called it "Perfectsville". We felt completely safe at all times. I would stay there again for sure! I had one issue that came up and the owner called me back right away to help.

The Rickhouse Apartment is a phenomenal space that was the perfect “home away from home” for our 8 day/7 night stay in Louisville for the RUN 4 THE ROSES Basketball Tournament. With this being our first trip to Kentucky we were unsure about the different areas and neighborhoods, and we didn’t quite know what to expect. The 25 min daily drive to the Kentucky Expo Center was a small price to pay for such an awesome space and community. The master suite had the most comfortable king sized bed I’ve found besides my own! And having 2.5 bathrooms (4 sinks and lots of mirrors) is perfect when you are traveling with 4 women! Never an issue. The open kitchen/dining/living area is great for cooking, relaxing and spending time after long days in the gym. The patio was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of Kentucky bourbon and cigar that I found at Seven Spirits- a cool little bar/liquor store that’s a short walk down the street. Too many places to name and things to do to list them all- Todd was always responsive to my texts and made the entire experience easy. The Rickhouse is our official “R4TR” hidden gem.
