The surf hideaway is a great place to stay whether visiting for work or vacation. The location is fantastic and close to shops, beaches, and golf courses.
Comfortable, quiet and great if you’re a dog lover. Charlie will greet you and make you feel at home if you have a dog back home.

Very nice place in great area away from tourist Kona. Hostess was great! Your entrance is on these right, DOWN the stairs. We walked right in the wrong door 😂 so got to meet our hostess. But ya great place.
Great location and stunning views in the neighbor. A quiet cul de sac. I had one minor repair that was resolved within 24 hours. Unit does have AC but, after house is cooled down; I didn't need it for sleeping. The dog, Charlie is your vacation ambassador, protector, and friend! A very gentle and clean dog for hanging outside during the day.
We never met the property owners who lived above the unit. There was no information in the unit about its specifics or the area. Not enough plates or silverware - two teaspoons, one distressed frying pan, had to clean the oven before using and some of the shelves in the refrigerator. We went to Goodwill to buy a frying pan. A sweet dog but the yard had lots of dog poop so didn't want to walk out there. Laundry was left in the washer and dryer often so we had to remove it to do our own laundry. The space itself was fairly clean and well furnished but we were disappointed by how poorly equipped the kitchen was. Bathroom and bedroom were good and well equipped.
