Obviously a well-loved family getaway. We chose the place because of the fenced yard and outdoor areas as we were traveling with our dog, which did not disappoint. Our biggest snag was finding the place, which was no fault of the owners. When I looked at the location on a. map from our house, the location popped up as within the city of London. So I expected to be in the town proper. And our driving directions, via GPS, took us to central non-specific spot within the town proper, which was confusing and frustrating after a very long day of driving. Only when we were actually in London, did the GPS switch to so us the actual location: 40 minutes away out in the country. Beautiful location and spot, but super frustrating to find. It was actually very close to the lake that we wanted to see....but no where near any restaurants or other services, so we had to pivot and eat peanut butter sandwiches for dinner that night. It is truly a hunting/fishing cabin. So quiet, so many stars....but it's definitely NOT in town. It was crazy hot, so unfortunately we didn't enjoy the hot tub, or even sitting in the outdoor areas. Nice place otherwise, and great for a getaway.
